Jesus you're right 😂 I'm so used to mates starting a conversation that way, it never occurred to me that it's a bit of a northern English colloquialism. Good old shielsy flying the flag eh!
As a new-ish follower of Rick and his videos, he just seems like a genuine person with honest opinions about new technology and the what’s what of current golf.. pretty awesome to have a guy like him represent a growing sport in such a positive way
Been watching your videos for a while now. Lifetime golfer, scratch, now about 14 handicap at 72 with two replaced knees and five brackets in my lower back. Love the simplicity you bring. Keeping it simple but effective for all! Would love to see more ball testing, since Jack Nicklaus once said the greatest advancements have been ball related. Mainly which balls fit different swing speeds! Thanks for everything!
I recently went putter shopping, not knowing anything about any of the current brands or products out there. I tried putter after putter and hit LOTS of balls, letting the data and feel guide my selections and I just kept coming back to the Evnroll Zero. I'm a tall guy and it just feels SO stable through the whole stroke. Only played a couple rounds with it but I feel so much more confident on the putting surface. Hope it lasts!
I love how Rick always gives honest reviews on everything. I wonder if the putter might improve someone's short game after getting used to the unusual shape.
You motivated me to go onto my first round 8 years after getting my handicap and I could use so much of your tips, I’m really thankful! I’m a little nerdy, so maybe this putter fits to me quite well and can help me ;) Keep the work up, Rick!
Would love to see Rick take an amateur golfer out on 18 holes and show how he implements his coaching tips. Could turn it into two videos; a before and after.
I would love to do that. I’ve only had one lesson and have played 6 full 18 hole games. My last game I hit a 49 on the first 9. I used to hate golf but now I really enjoy it. I want to get good. I’m 23 I think I have some time still.
Although it does look insanely crazy at first. But it kinda grows on you. I really fancy trying it out now. Btw Rick always first in those cool reviews. Love it.
Rick gotta say, your videos are some of the best golf content channels around! Love you enthusiasm and you knowledge of the game! Keep up the great work! Also here to try and get that crazy putter!!
Thinking the exact same thing. Am curious to know if this is actually lie angle balanced or not, I'm thinking not since the shaft is at least a single bend.
Evnroll doing their best to imitate DF/LAB all the way down to the Press Grip and the face grooves. DF/LAB technology is trendsetting and imitation is the highest form of flattery.
@@caseypearce9078 L.A.B. has a patent for the lie angle balance technology. Evnroll may have the shaft in the center of mass or something for some kind of work-around depending on the language of the patent
@@EdReed20DB Sounds about right. Guess that's why they say it "virtually" locks the putter face to the target line, whereas LAB putters actually do it.
For someone that is still learning the game, all the “technology” that this putter has to offer, I definitely need the “assistance”. As always, thank you for your videos. I do pay attention and it has helped me tremendously. Thanks.
@@lavin214 ikr. Everyone complaining about putter prices although it is the most used club in the bag and probably the most durable. Depending on the face/insert we are speaking of 10-20 years if you will
@@lavin214 i'm sure anyone willing to pay 900$ for a driver doesn't have a 30$ putter. but in the end, doesn't matter what the price is ... i have a 150$ wilson and i putt just fine
@@dagg310 it would surprise you how many people willingly drop a grand on a driver but draw that line when it comes to spending more than hundred on putter.
Hey Rick love the vids! Heard that you came to my hometown golf club in Bala, Wales was wondering how you found it diffrent to other courses you have been to with the some of the holes unseeable from the fairways etc. Keep up the good work!
I thought the same thing. Currently using the mezz proto and its the best putter ive ever used, but i also gamed the DF2.1 as well. The tech is good, so id imagine it would work well in an even roll, but im still obsessed with my mezz
I came here to say this. My Mezz is on the way, sprung for the A Mezz Corner special edition. Using an Edel right now. I think Edel and LAB have absolutely schooled every club manufacturer. I basically never 3 putt anymore.
@@benwintermute2804 2 years ago I thought someone ought to do the LAB thing with the SIK face with the Evenroll goofy-necked shaft. The perfect putter.
@@AustinLindstrom toss a stability shaft on it while you're at it. Cobra kind of dipped their toe with the Sik face on their putter. Parents become an issue real quick. LAB has patents on lie angle balance for some time. When they expire, we are going to see a lot of rip offs just like how everybody has a spider type putter now
I always watch you’re videos. I kept splicing the ball so I looked at you’re driver episode. Literally the next day I stopped hitting them right and I’ve been hitting bombs down the fairway. I still get +2 on almost all 18. Improving every time I go is why I fell in love with golfing. Thanks Rick!!
No amount of technology can improve your feel, your ability to read greens, or your mindset about putting. It just seems like all the efforts to lean more on technology to improve your putting is like the search for the Holy Grail. Great review Rick.
Always appreciate your honest assessment of products. I do agree that there is a lot going on with the Zero putter and you'd have to do a significant amount of practice with it to be able to get in the automatic mode with the putter.
Struggling with my putting recently, watched your videos and masterclass putting. I think this putter would help me big time, and my confidence at addressing the ball on crucial putts.
Love the videos. With your love of Evnroll, I was curious to hear what you thought of the “zero alignment” because of what you were working on after your putting coaching session and using the 2- ball recently. Great video as always!
My wife lost my heavy putter on my last Birthday, when she was regripping my irons. Somehow it walked, and I loved that thing. Thanks for considering me, good video as always.
