Current Dealer vocalist was in Alpha Wolf, either left the band or was kicked out (don’t believe it’s ever been publicly said) due to sexual misconduct allegations. Also I’m not sure there’s actually beef as I’ve never heard or seen that publicly as well. I think it’s just that it’s easy to compare them because of the ties and that they’re pretty similar sounding. Also the woman who brought about the allegations dropped them so it’s all been pretty vague.
@Midlife I don't understand why he'd leave out of fear of damaging the band's reputation if it was confirmed that the woman lied about all of it. If he knew he was innocent he should've just stuck with the band and stood up for himself. Cancel culture is very toxic and I wish more musicians would just stand up for themselves more when people spew lies about them on the internet.
guy on a gravitron machine standing sideways it took I while for it to come out that it was fake. On top of that, cancel culture usually doesn’t care about facts once it’s got its claws in. Even if Aidan knew he was in the right, if it actually went through court what’s the likelihood he’d actually win that battle...
@@tyler_bt3326 if it went to court he would most likely win tbh. If there's no evidence, they couldn't convict him. Tbh I've seen cancel culture fail nearly every time, not just for music (especially hip-hop, with notable cases like 6ix9ine, Chris Brown, Doja Cat, Blueface, XXXtentacion, list goes on) but with any famous figure (Kobe Bryant, Donald Trump, Filthy Frank, etc.) It does nothing to effect the cultural impact and the following of a person/group. In fact the bands that I do see fall into irrelevancy, are the bands that kick members out over allegations (Moose Blood, Emarosa, Jank, etc.) because by doing that, they essentially admit guilt, even if they're not guilty and no facts are provided.
it's funny that you compared them to Dealer cause the former singer of AW is a current singer in Dealer. Well, the former singer of Dealer too actually...
@@unholy_exe in the past I used to be disappointed if a festival was announced largely comprising is Aussie bands now im all for it.in July we have a festival with the likes of alpha wolf, thornhill,in hearts wake, thy art, hands like houses, make them suffer.etc. Be nice to see some live music again
