His mother is was a model and now has her own clothing label in China (I think that is correct). He's worked very hard though as far as I can see. Yes, money can open some doors but money can't buy you the ability to dance and sing and he has worked hard to prove that he has both!

The difference is HUGE! Passion runs through both classes but idols from lower & middle class is something else. The way they fought & became successfull without pulling the strings is impressive, note that they also didn't rely on their visuals.

well i mean unless these idols are going around bragging their families’ wealth and looking down on people, them growing up rich is not something you can blame them for since thats not something they can choose and as long as they are working hard to be idols i see nothing wrong with supporting them
If its true that theyre rich then they are. Its not their fault. We should just see it as it is. Theyre born with it for us whos not them just let it be. Just not sow negativity just because theyre rich. Even if theyre rich and flaunting it its on them. But i guess culture will have a very heavy role on how rich idols should act and society dictates that even if you are you have to fit right in. In short be modest. It has pros and cons. But all in all every person will have its opinion on the matter. What we want to avoid is to put negativity on them just because theyre rich.

I get that some of them have "written" songs for their groups music but let's all keep in mind that KOMCA is never a reliable source for idols to know if they're a real or professional song writer, composer, producer & director.

Yes, idols can come from poorer backgrounds, but most poor and lower middle class people simply can’t afford the risk that a job in the entertainment industry has. Most idols don’t come from millionaire families, but the large majority of idols come from middle class and upper middle class families who can afford the risk of their child entering the entertainment industry. IBeing rich doesn’t guarantee success, but it sure does help.
Yes Anton comes from Nepotism but I can see that he works really hard to fit into his group ...Initially, he wasn't able to catch up with others in dancing....and it's understandable because imagine if your group has a pro dancer like Shotaro (and other above average dancers) it would be difficult..but he is doing really well recently...I also heard that when Anton had the cello performance at Mama he practiced till morning....yes there is a scope for improvement but he's doing very well...

Looking at the previous generation idols who also came from upper class, their talent nor their contribution to the entertainment industry is nothing worthy compared to idols who came from lower-middle class families. The idols who came from the lower & middle class brought in more significant changes in the industry like idols like them from 1st-3rd generation, they became successfull worthy actors, directors, songwriter, composer, producers, directors, stylists, make up artists, ceo & even professional musicians. No offence to the richer idols attending expensive classes for dancing, music or vocals but the talent of idols from lower-middle class families is unrivaled, their passion runs through their blood & is evident in their works.

@@hyunestarkookielit always says subtle things to shade idols. Whenever talking about most second generation groups, there’s always some sort of negative information that isn’t correct. When talking about groups not so big in the west, she clearly doesn’t care for them and shades them. When talking about idols she doesn’t like, she does all research possible so she can’t be caught shading them.
The saddest thing about this is that at least one of those mentioned has no discernible talent. All the riches and opportunities handed to him has made no difference as far as success. I would so embarrassed to be in his position. Those who are actually talented and rich - but used contacts to get the initial step up - don't even offend my as much because whatever your wealth it's not unusual for families to help each other.

Y'all need to understand that just bc they went to a good college or kindergarten, it doesn't automatically mean that they are rich. Korean parents do a lot for their kids' education, even having multiple jobs. (Doesn't mean that some of the aren't rich, but also doesn't mean that they are )
Stop making the rich even more rich. The only talented and deserved idol in this video is giselle, a sub vocalist who has better vocals than lia from itzy as a main vocalist.
