Great video / work. On Zabit, I've made money backing him lately I got 61p to the pound vs Kattar and bet max bet of 320 so I'm big on Zabit. Imo he ain't got 5 round cardio, at least not at 145. He is a complete fighter imo, very high fight IQ, very reliable. He just needs cardio and a bit more power maybe 155 is gonna be his home if he wants to go 5 rounds he still have range there. Idk how tight he is with Khabib and if they wouldn't wanna fight but ultimately he needs to move to 155 to get 5 rounds cadrio in and needs to move up in a calculated manner physically via training and diet

Zabit is a warrior, and he’s the 1st fighter that makes me believe Kung Fu can be used effectively in mma. Even if he misses a heavy attack, he can just wrestle like a starving mountain bear. I know he trains with The Eagle. When he fights, his ability to flow from style 2 style is fluid as water. He is the true Style-Bender.

Anton Kartavenko kung fu is an umbrella term, he meant chinese style martial art or wushu (wu=martial, shu=art). Zabit comes from a wushu/sanda base so he is correct.

When I saw Zabit perform the first time few years ago I became a fan of his directly, you can tell he is different then all the other fighters. Me as a karate and kickboxing background the way Zabit moves is just incredible to watch.

Lol if is cardio was better he wouldn't need to pace himself as much, easier to get fitter than it is to train yourself to throw less punches, kicks, combos etc or even weaker ones. That in the longer run would be pretty counter productive.

If he was scheduled for a 5 round fight I guarantee he’d just leg kick and jab first two rounds anyway. He’s got the length to just out box most in the division. 3 round fights are different. He knows he can push the tempo. Something tells me cardio won’t be an issue when he inevitably gets booked a 5 round fight.

I love Zabit because he’s one of the few remaining Kung Fu practitioners left in the UFC the Spin kicks and the fancy trips. That’s a all from his Sanda background. Shit he trained and drilled everyday at his academy.

Yep, where’s all the Kung fu is fake crowd? Lots of elements are very effective and practical even in an mma setting, you just have to spar against others styles to see what is practical. I especially like to see him control the distance against an attack.

He is one of the rare fighters that though fighting disciplined and knows his opponents strengths, the beauty of this fighter is his fluency in delivering a variety. Of kicks, punches, takedowns and submissions. He is able t9 fluidly improvise much of his attacks...controls the distance, sees what’s coming and improvises his weapons of choice and executes...always relaxed and with plenty of time compared to his opponents, who appear rushed and stretched out, reaching to get a punch in, therefore off balance. Spectacular to watch.

The problem with this guy is his stamina. After 2nd round he is short of breath like a chain smoker. Very vulnerable in 3rd round. And we haven't seen how he handles 5 rounds.

Zabit needs to work on his cardio so that he can go 5 rounds if he needs too. Dude will have trouble with a 5 round bout if he don't work on that cardio.

That's part of most fighters progression whether it be boxing or MMA. Professional boxers start with 4 round fights then 6 round fights then 8 round fights then 10 rounds then 12. MMA has only two options but that doesn't mean there's no progression.

Sateki Koloa stfu with that excuse. So he had staph infection against Kyle Bochniak and Jeremy Stephens too? Yeahhh right i like Zabit but his cardio is really poor.
