It's hard to fathom how this can be allowed to happen.. See the crazy sight of so, so many trains stored at Long Marston which should be at work somewhere across the UK improving services to the UK public.
There are 2 main storage areas - The first half of the video focuses on the area with the new rolling stock, closest to the access line from Worcester - The 2nd half show the older stock sat towards the middle of the compound.
Imagine if the value of this stock, plus that at Worksop and Bicester was made public - It would generate some sort of reaction.
Onsite we see units which should be in use for South Western Trains, Mersey Rail and former Ex Trans Pennine Express rolling stock which has barely seen any material usage.
All footage was captured in-line with current CAA drone usage regulations using a compliant sized aircraft as of Mar-24.
