Its not worth making a theory for, it's a Dayshift at freddy's reference. The creator literally said it while reacting to game theory's video, when it was brought up for a different reason. Dayshift at freddy's is a popular FNAF fangame.

@@Tamebugster theyre basically mascots that had the souls or living essences of the people that used their mascot suits. they were developed by the people that owned the resort the mascots were at to save money after the one mascot person died
