This is when he realized that the warden and the wither took everything from him, and he was going to get revenge there was a group of loyalist that still wanted to be like the ancient builders and hated the villagers for not wanting to explore an adventure thus, for they call themselves the pillagers the pillagers imprisoned, some of the remnant of the ancient builders, trying to use emeralds to turn them into an elite guard force but most of them died in the process until king Cyrus, also known as the ender found the pillager king, king Cyrus has surgically attached an end eye that he had found one of the 12 into his chest he now held much more power than he did before he aligned himself with the pillager King their goal was to find all the ender eyes to summon the final dragon back into this world was that they would be unstoppable, and they could finally re-create the ancient builders legacy with the pillager king still wanted that elite guard force so his Pillager went kidnapping. Ancient builders, doing more experiments on them the Pillager king kidnapped a group of builders, Steve, Alex, Zhang. Arnold. and Trevor. Steve was the first experimented on king Cyrus uses under eye to brainwash Steve, giving him goals that were his own, giving, Steve, the urge to kill the wither to hunt down the warden to open the portal to the under dragon to murder the villagers to build great statues and eliminate the undead but Steve was able to break free and helped the others escape. Afterwards they returned to the village. Steve felt sick weeks later people have been reporting Steve, having strange blackouts in which he become much stronger than he was before committing murder arson, sometimes going out randomly into the forest, not coming back for days, and when he did return, he would talk about having to kill the monsters and avenge his brothers. Soon he had his final blackout, while in a village wandered so far off from his village that he was gone for months and didn’t return to other villages he went through Pillager, outpost, killing villages and villages alike, slaying the undead with just his bare hands, a sword and a shield. Soon enough the blackout ended, and he woke up far away from home, not knowing where to go not remembering a single thing about who he is or where he came from it difficult for him to speak, although he still has his muscle memory and his incredible strength alex and her friends Wander the land, now searching for Steve

The void has no lore because its not intended to be accessible by the player and you can only get there by using a glitch that mojang decided to leave in the game.
Minecraft should add a dimension under the void of the overworld. I mean we got the End above the Overworld, so we need something that’s in between the Nether and Overworld.

The void and The ancient wither soul are powering the bedrock that's why it's indestructible also mojang didn't put the mantle and the Earth's core so It answers that Minecraft is a thin sheet of flat crust laid on the void. Portals are just going to take you to another flat sheet of crust Nether (probably under the sun because we don't see it when we dig down the bedrock) End (Moon of Minecraft earth) The ancient wither's soul could be trapped inside the bedrock.
Maybe the void is the absence of light dark life or matter making it the dead zone to life and death maybe the sort of god that made the entire minecraft world had found this and had never made it. So it made a barrier to stop anything from dying and enlarging the core
I hate to be the naive one, but there is no lore Video games dont just go on forever, they have boundries, Bedrock is made as a thing to keep players away from the boundries, the void is the boundry
