I agree with the house situation. I only have a few complaints like the stupid lobby system that doesn't let you play with more than 3 friends without having to swap between crews for half an hour. (and then suddenly they disappear because they auto join a different lobby.) Other than that i have to comgratulate Ivory Tower for making the same map feel new, the graphics look great and the sounds (Ooooh the sounds) are sooooo good. Such a step up from TC1.

No issues so far, apart from the game crashing once randomly. Something I hate is the gravity. The game makes it seem like you're on Jupiter instead of Earth. Drive off a mountain at 200 mph and you're on the ground within half a second. I find the handling surprisingly not-floaty, so that's good. When it comes to tracks scattered across the map, I've driven on Laguna Seca and I've heard Sebring is somewhere in Florida as well. I also found a track called "Little Eagle Speedrome", located east of St. Louis. It's like Gateway, but three times bigger. I'm disappointed the Daytona International Speedway, the track that hosts one of the world's biggest races, is not in the game.

I saw something that you might like that is in the opening trailer. If you look at the bridge in one scene the main character is being chased by police so maybe freeroam cops or police chases will be a thinf

I am sooo glad you keep referencing the TDU series. Ots impossible not to see the resemblances. It was my favorite racing game last gen, and it was WAYyyyyyY beyond its time. I posted a HUGE post on the Crews Facebook page two years ago expressing some of the things they could do in the Crew sequel...and most of what I was suggeating were ideas that were IN Test Drive Unlimited (unique house purchasing, character creation, dealerships, etc etc). Im glad they put "some" new stuff but, lets be honest these houses/factories look kinnnnda corny. And they're wayyyy to obnoxious to be given out at the beggining of the game. They had an opportunity to really make hundreds of unique cribs for racers to purchase. But, they dropped the ball. I hope they atleast have a crew clubhouse thing (like in TDU2).

This really reminds me of the crew 1, how there was a house in New York (dirt), Miami (perf), Las Vegas (raid), Los Angeles (circuit), and Detroit (street).

I already knew this was going to be a thing its just HQ from the first game but better. I do wish it was more like tdu2 tho, I loved going to different houses around the map and looking at my cars that I put in there (I had an all ferrari garage looked sick)

Honestly the island at the top left of the map with the arena at night is beautiful.

It looks like they've got a different hq, and house for each region on the new map. So maybe we will unlock each one as we go through the game.

Here is how houses it will probably work. At Rookie you get Miami and as you rank up with more fans your HQ will rank up as well. More houses are identical to the first one both inside and out and you will get them as you progress through the different disciplines.

Maybe they will have house progression in the full game? As of right now the house in Miami might just be a placer for the beta. You should tweet out and see if anyone can find an interesting looking home that stands out (which could prove a house progression)

Maybe we're playing as the racer in the Crew 1. Remember that dude that had an accident which ends his career? You know, the one we have to play through to unlock dirt spec?

See that thing in the corner in the map - powered by live - your character could have a sponsorship with live so you get nice house for each category race drfit off-road etc

I agree they need more customization on the characters and houses. We really need a TDU3. But it is a fun game.

I think that at the beginning of the main game you will be able to choose what state to you will start off to live in and that is why they are all the same

I think that they will do the houses like Forza Horizion Three, forza hubs, where you unlock them through doing missions.

The crew 3 with the ability to get out of your vehicle

I did some testing with the loot drops and I didn't figure them out yet. Here's what I found: 1. there's only a chance that loot drops 2. perfomance part can be reused for other cars. No cross-class but you can swap between the same class. 3. You can complete a raid event (I did a slalom) with a street car and earn parts. I even got a purple one 4. The perfomance rating was always higher than the one on my current car. 5. I bought the eldorado (rating 10) and got a multiple 150-ish part with it. Smart loot like in the crew, where the drops were only slightly higher than your current rating, doesn't seem to exist. Further question: drop chance drop chance when you use the same car over and over again. drop chance when you complete the same mission over and over again. different drop chance for different type of missions?

Sadly this isn't TDU, but I wish it was, cause I really miss that feeling of ownership I had in TDU, and some games this days don't deliver that, GTA it those, but it's not a racing game, but so far, I'm pretty hyped about this game, the important is, IT LOOKS BLOODY FUN !!

Talking about future dlc, I would like to a partnership between Ubisoft and PlayStation, and with this partnership they put some racetrack from Gran Turismo, like the Seattle racetrack or the NY one, and some car customization like we got in MotorStorm. And could happen same to Xbox with Forza dlc...

There is nothing to do but farm races but it’s pretty fun

Sadly I don't have a ps4 or xone but Thats y I watch u pants and I agree that they should have put more detail in houses eg if the place is different to the Miami one make it a different building like NFS carbon

You are one of the only RU-vidrs that cares about progression in games. If my first car in a game is a Ferrari, and I get given a fucking skyscraper, it would make the game feel so much less enjoyable and satisfying. I'm happy with the choices of cars in this, not too extreme, yet still fun, but the houses... HMMM

That’s the same Monstertruck arena from the original crew so I’m guessing it’s the same thing for all of them

When I drive a bike fast I want my character to lean forward more, like almost laying down, now it keeps sitting straight up wich ruins the feeling of going fast. But I love the game so far, big ups Ivory Tower!

I think that monster truck arena is EXACTLY the same as the first crew. And it seems like the map and background like buildings and cars are all exactly the same. It seems like its basically the crew 1 with planes and boats
