Back story on this trailer was they had very little budget to produce anything. One of the devs came up with it and was made on a shoestring. One of the best game trailers ever.

nostalgia bro, i barely played it that much because only my cousins had a console that could handle this game, but they didnt have internet, so they couldnt get the crew 2, but this game was revoloutionary for 2014, and driving these rally raid cars was probably the best videogame experience ive ever had, the camaro especially for some reason, yesterday i bought it again in the crew 2. best videogame car ive ever driven. thanks for the short, but wonderful memories you guys gave me, and for keeping the rally raid cars.

It breaks my heart that one day this glorious gem will die. It's inevitable. They'll shut down the servers, and not patch it to be playable offline, and you'll never get to experience the USA journey in this incredible playground ever again. It scares me so much, because I want to always be able to play it. There's nothing like it. Not even the sequel.

This looks very beautiful and accomplished. Now...IF ONLY the game actually looked just like that with absolutely zero HUD/icon/indicator stuff whatsoever... Alas; you just know that's not what is going to happen and as soon as all the other HUD/icon/indicator crap is turned on it's just going to take something beautiful and make it something beautiful with lots of crap all over it. The truth shall set you free! Edit: Well, it turns out you can turn off the HUD and stuff apparently, in Free Roaming mode at least, so my apologies and kudos to the team for that.

This map was insanely huge! Plus you get to go anywhere with so many different rides while enjoying such beautiful scenes and locations in America (at least we do have glimpsed of what it would be look likes whenever you are in the States) Not to mention this developer also making wilderness into something valuables to be explored as there are variety of animals encounter along the road trip which is something new and not to be missed out! I love The Crew and thank you Ivory Tower for making this awesome games!

Imagine a game like this but to a global scale. (can Teleport across Oceans though) If someone created it right, it would be worth the massive file size. I'd love to drive the stretch of I-10 or I-40 from coast to Coast. Yes that would be like a massively long drive (if you drove the speedlimit but in a racing game who does that) Some would call it boring, But I'd find it great, take you're dream cars on a race coast to coast on a map TO SCALE. Race through your home town in ways you wouldn't dare do in reality. I would fork out major cash to see it done!

There's no load times at all, people have been playtesting this game for months no, the only loading screen is at the very beginning starting up.

Heit Leur No, its basically free roaming on multiplayer and cruising. It would be stupid of them to put load screens when there really is no point unless you're joining servers. Its like GTA driving and cruising, watch dogs free roaming.. etc.

There are load times in menus. Small, but they exist. The main problem is that this game is optimized only for console. Scratch that, the main problem is this game runs Uplay.

Driving physics look like shit to be honest. Actually fact the driving sucks. I played a demo today at E3. But the large game makes up for it. If your looking for physics and open world the FH2 is the way to go. I will be getting both. Off roaring in the crew is fun though.

Taras Korotchenko There are actually three handling models! A simulation one (like Forza or Gran Turismo), an arcade-simulation and an arcade one (I think it's the one in the demos) ;)

For anyone wondering, if there really is a mission that the trailer is based off, it's called "Showtime (2.5h)", it's a faction mission where you start in Florida Keys, limited to Dirt spec.
