@@jortepap SL! what do you thing this acronym mean ? SL 55 SL 65 SL 65 BS SL S SL R and now AMG (GT ETC ETC) tf? Every SL has correlation and you don't have to be a genius to undestand this.

@@coach4050 While the SL model line has a specific design and feel to them, these specific ones are not supposed to be a replacement for the SLR, just like the older versions weren’t. It’s not meant to compete with the likes of Enzo.

​@@coach4050 I feel like you also don't have to be a genius to understand that the SLR (SLR McLaren to be exact) just like the later SLS are coupe SUPERCARS and not convertible sports/performance cars like this and every other SL. That one last letter changes a lot and just that they all have "SL" in their names doesn't mean they're all the same car or type/level of a car. Comparing an SL of any generation to an SLR is like comparing an Audi TT to an Audi R8 or like comparing a Porsche 911 Carrera to a Porsche Carrera GT so essentially it doesn't make any sense. Oh, and since you haven't explained what "SL" means, I'll help you with that. It means Sport Leicht in german (Sport Light in english) and "SLR" stands for Sport Leicht Rennsport in german (Sport Light Racing in english).

@@philzmigrodzki nope the all SL are GTS (Gran Tourers) thats not the same as comparing the tt (Segment C CAR & Sports Car) and r8 ( Supercar) or the 911 ( sportscar) and carrera gt (supercar) this aren't similar models at any capacity , you don't have to be a genius to undestand that, SLR means that but the GT part doesn't change in the range of models what changes is the exclusivity and performance of it Mate. while a sl 55 is a gt with some perfomance figures the sl65 BS is a gt supercar just like the f12, that's what changes really. If I point out this is because the slr is pre predecesor to the amg gt ( slr - sls - amg (sl)) and the actuall sl is at some point the succesor of the amg gt ( you can fact check that) and still you don't get what i'm saying, the SLR was aiming higher and wanted to compete with the best of it's time being a gt in base form (Carrera GT enzo Ferrari) the sls did go down in a category level competing with 458 , 911, gallardo (downgrade ( just like the aventador compared to the murcielago or the mc12 compared to the mc20( but at some point still representing in a design level being a Mercedes) , and this at some point is the succesor to the amg gt (SL55) and that car competes with a 911 , gtr,huracan 488 GTB but isn't aiming to be a Mecedes loooking too much like a 911. that's what i meant and in a category level is a downgrade ( that's a fact.) of couse i say this cuz mercedes was thinking about that while making the amg one ( do a purposebly downgrade to this line to make the clk gtr line continue ( amg one to compete with what the slr used to compete with ( predecesors ( carrera gt (918) Enzo Ferrar( LaFerrari)) but i still wanted to point it out. ( but you still didn't have the full context to understand what i meant)
