He generally doesn't really care about clothing and thinks I look great in everything, so asking specifically if he thinks it flatters my waist, if he can se a pantyline, if he thinks it's a little too formal or not formal enough has helped so much. Where as the question "do you think this dress goes with these shoes" allows for more consideration.
