Just to mention, those "Middle-Eastern" fans probably aren't from Qatar, they're likely made from the massive expat community in Qatar (90% of those who live there are expats) And more specifically, probably from Kerala, India, where there is a massive football culture and an even large proportion who work in the Gulf states. Because the Indian National Team is so bad, they usually turn to supporting other big nations, most famously, Argentina or Brazil.
