Overall a decent change I think it would be cool if the guards did basically double the dps so it's a tower super vulnerable to speedy enemies but it's fun to use as the dps is so unpredictable with the guards dying and sometimes stacking ):D ofcourse a few thousand more expensive to compensate maybe

The g crook boss middle game potential is still huge, it is extremely cheap and can easily handle any wave until wave 30. Just place one or two g crook boss and you have so much time to farm

(This is for G Crook) I felt it was an overall nerf, when using it, the performance felt weaker compared to before throughout the entire game, lower dmg means in molten theres no one shotting normals and two shotting slows, and in fallen you cant one shot quicks if theres no enemies beta, and even though the guards are spawning faster, they have different caps at different levels, while before it was always a 3 guard cap meaning higher potential dps that is slower, but you had a cheap and effective tower to actually survive on its own and be able to wait the time out. the only level i felt performed better is lvl 3, but the price increased by over 1k,which means it HAS to preform better. I sometimes used G Crook, but with the changes I'll find myself not using it at all, does not fit how it was used, as max was nerfed, and i always got max before wave 20 on fallen to shred those waves, and now its gonna be more expensive and do less, generally dont like it.

I really like how it’s got a massive upside, AND a massive downside. Using this guy now really is a statement and I love it.

In my opinion in the early levels he should have 4 damage and make it a bit slower so it still has the same dps

the most important thing you forgot to mention is that the guards spawn much quicker now, which is why gcb lost some dps for its max lvl, because 3 guards can easily stack up and allow for more inconsistent dps

Me personally I used to use gold crook boss as early mid and end game sense I got bored of no updates so now that they technically nerfed gold crook in my case now I got to find a new way to have fun

u forgot about that the spawn time of the guards can be decreased using upgrades and that if u have 4 max lvl crooks then it can do soo much damage with its guards, in fact i got to the molten boss using these crooks and support and got him to 972 health yesterday

Some ppl complain about on endgame g crook but for me it's good enough and should realize that every tower in the game has their own use

i hope they focus on event towers like slasher next update

I used crook boss as pretty much a early,mid and late game tower every game bc hes good for all of those

Golden crooks value is severely underrated, a single lvl1 crook (which is only 875$ btw) can last up to wave 10 in fallen and HARDCORE (itll struggle a bit in hc until u get the guard that is.) Allowing u to farm HEAVILY. I did a fallen game and did that with crook and was able to get all lvl 3 farms placed down + a MAX one by wave 12.

Using this tower and no discount from dj I got 8 maxed farms a max dj and all of the golden crook bosses maxed by wave 25 Very op considering the cheap dps

Both of Normal Crook Boss (NBC) and Gold Crook Boss (GCB) buffs are so insane. Me and my friend Zeuseo7 tries nbc on Pizza Party and we were LOLing on the fact that 8 max nbcs can survive like until wave 36 (notice that the "other" dps we had was gold cowboy and they were only level 2 for money making, as well as executioner for balloon kids)

I always loved g crook and now I love it even more🎉

Just a small error I happened to notice; at lvl 1 of gcb (right here 3:24), the damage stays consistent with the lvl 0 and lvl 2-3 upgrades, so it’s 3 base damage and not 4

Honestly, for me this is a nerf. I can’t solo molten with g crook and ranger among with the supports anymore, it now has a problem dealing with hidden bosses as the damage is really low and the rof bug, and since the rangers don’t have a hidden detection, overall it’s a nerf to be and i’d like to see it have an actual buff.

Crook boss needed that buff, even if it’s a small one.

im just confused why max gcb has less damage than normal cb, but I guess it makes up for it by massively decreasing it's fire rate to something similar to minigunner

As a person who got Golden Crook Boss as their first Golden Skin, I'd say that this buff is a Win

Fun fact: golden crook boss now has a faster CROOK (rip crook, now bodyguards) have a faster spawn rate and will help if everything gets nuked and probably will help more than the lost 4 dps

I love crook boss now I use it as early game tower now it’s starter price is worth it someone said it’s not worth it so they didn’t read the whole rework

It is amazing late game, just pair it with max level commander and it will shoot every 0.02 seconds with the special ability. DJ just helps if more with better range.

it kinda sucks that the final level was nerfed which pretty much killed its late game potential, but i think that since its earlier levels got those buffs its overall better now. (that is until the rework comes out which will probably buff it more)

I think they should still buff its units, like maybe giving the units the ability to walk backwards if an enemy comes too close and hidden detection on max lvl, because its so cringe when a big clump of guards gets destroyed by one enemy

You can solo Molten with only Crook Boss (early tower), Farm, and Minigunner/Ace Pilot.

I think he got the price wrong for the normal crook boss because before the pirate update the normal crook boss costed less than what he talked about

I would say the golden crook boss got a buff as it’s late game potential wasn’t really the main focus of the tower anyway, the smaller range won’t matter because by then you’ll have other towers placed down to deal with those. The golden crook boss is (in my opinion) a pretty solid tower now since it can handle both early and mid game, so you’ll have more time to farm without investing too much on defense.

i still prefer the g crook version with 4 damage at level 3 and the special crook spawn with the uzi

Bad news: accel got nerfed and if you place a lvl 0 before it has hidden detection and now it doesn't have now why they nerfed it and its super expensive 😢

I don't think golden crook isn't much better tbh, it's better early game, but the less range for more firerate and the reworked unit system makes it feel more or less the same. It pretty much has the same potential as it did in the previous update, imo. At least it gets guards earlier which is kinda cool.
