This 2004 multi award winning short film is based on Sheridan Le Fanu's short story "Carmilla" a vampire story way ahead of its time centering on a female vampire. The book predates Dracula. So I watched it again six months later. Fluid camera moves, atmospheric lighting..it's still absolutely gorgeous. Had no idea it was intended as a teaser.

An absolutely gorgeous production..that goes NOWHERE! One of the great iconic vampire tales of 20th century literature reduced to a G rated interpretive dance production. With those great locales and marvelous interiors..pardon me while I poke out my own eyes!
