@@elijahtaylor7891 for the corny & impaired: If you are guarding a player, who has the confidence to turn completely away from you and talk to the coach - sooo UN-concerned with your level of defense. Then you might wanna give him some room - cause he’s destined to cook (blow pass you) you.
He should've kept shuffling, but he placed his foot over the other and fell because he couldn't move it back fast enough. If he kept shuffling, he'd still be in front of him in the crossover. If he passed him, then the center could've got him.
Not quite. The foot he tried to stop with didn't plant correctly. It landed on the side of his shoe. Which is essentially what getting cooked is. His brain knew he needed to stop but that first move made him over commit too much to his left to quickly come back right. Bro got crossed
@@PaulWeezy50he ran into him, was pushing him to get resistance and released as he stepped back. Its like fighting in a sumo suit and using resistance.
@@bakerfresh That would be a great explanation if I didn't see it from the other angle somewhere. Lol. He didn't push. Which is why buddy didn't have an expression other than embarrassment on his face.
look at his footwork. Way too heavy on his feet, stomping around like he's going to chop a tree. Dude shouldn't be cocky, he doesn't have the balance to match the attitude.

I just want to comment to say that getting shots made in your face, being dunked on, and getting crossed up are all normal parts of the game. I respect the defender for doing his best in the moment to cover the offensive player. Can’t let stuff like this shake you. You’re playing because you love the game. He’s young, and it’s all a part of learning and growing as a player.
credit to him for being hype on defense but the moment he crossed his right foot over his left it was over. His coach gotta tell his team how to slide right.
Not trying to hate but most ankle breakers are the ball handler pushing of the defender and the defender doesn't know he's going to get pushed his force goes in one direction and falls.
