The Crow with Brandon Lee had superior acting (compared to the Batman cheap-quels) by none other than Brandon himself! He carried this movie completely without all the wire-fu and cinema computer graphics! HE ALONE made the movie an iconic cult hit, and he did not even finish the movie given his horrific, untimely passing. RIP Brandon Bruce Lee. Always will be missed!
Brandon Lee's Last Performance is My FAVORITE performance by any actor of all time, everything he did and said had such a poetic flow to it, I didn't see an actor in it, I saw Eric Draven. Brandon Lee, Your Death will NEVER be in vain for me, your performance in my mind, is the best that has ever become from the art of cinema. and given the other Great performances that came afterwards from other actors over the years in other films and TV shows, that's saying a lot.
I really enjoy all the movies, I have a respect for them now, when I didn't have one back then.. The first and original will always be my true favorite.. I do appreciate the movies for what they are.. I think The Crow deserves a comeback though, that's really a story I never get tired of watching. It would be cool to see a female Crow version.
That would've been cool. There actually was a female Crow..Iris Shaw who was killed along with her daughter. They should make one about her story instead of doing a reboot of this one! This one is already a masterpiece!!
Respecting Heath Ledger & Brandon Lee. :) Love them Both. If I had to give you my thoughts well.. I like the old Batman movies better than the new ones. I think the Crow is way better than those as well. RIP Brandon & Heath
I was surprised to hear Brandon was Bruce Lee's son. I honestly did not know Bruce had kids. It's such a shame. Brandon appears to be a very intense actor and would have done a lot of great work. This is a dark but great film and says a lot about the young man's talent.
Posh Jesscott I was about to post the same thing, until I decided to scroll down and see if someone else said it! I bet that's where they got the idea.
This film is very therapeutic. I watch it every time I dream about my late girlfriend who passed away in the hands of lousy doctors. I wish there was a crow to do that to Kaiser Permanente. Anyways, this film is seriously kick-ass and then even more.
_Jesus Christ walks into a hotel...oww...hands the in keeper three nails...and he say, 'can you put me up for the night?_ Just badd ass and he says it all while being shot repeatedly by a hand cannon, epic!
they made more than one remake of this film. there was this one (the best) one they made in 1996, then a series in 1998 consisting of about 20 some odd episodes, then they made one in 2000, then another in 2005. In my opinion they are all watered down versions of the original, all different crows except the series in 98... that pretty much made a mockery of the first Eric Draven. the others are ok, but they just dont have the same fan charecter as Brandon Lee. But they are still worth watching
Stay still each one of these is a life a life you help destroy your job is to tell the rest of them that death is coming for them tonight tell them Eric draven sends his regards is that gasoline I smell
@walnut484 Actually, sir, it is a Mossberg. You can tell by the shell feeder piece on the bottom when he holds it vertically. It is inverted from a Remington.
Have any of you guys noticed that at 0:58 you can see the shotgun barrel in the upper left hand corner of the screen, yet he's holding up toward the ceiling a second later. I never noticed that till now. hmmm...lol
@itachi33343 No, he meant that tin-tins victims all had their rings stolen. whenever they killed someone, they robbed them too. which might explain the whole box of rings. afterall, Gigeon is in kah-hoots with tin tins gang. ...savy? (at least that's MY understanding)
They're planning to remake The Crow with Tom Hiddleston as The Crow... not sure if he'll do justice, though, Brandon Lee did a superb job as "The Crow".
@uraz88 no SPAZ 12 is a military weapon you cant sell them to the public that was a remington pump action just cause you play call of duty does not mean you know guns
honestly dude. Both movies had quite good acting and quite a dark story and setting. They are both considered to be Gothic also. I still love the crow, it will always be one of my all time favorite movies, and if they remake it, i'm gonna be pissed. I also loved the dark knight, just not as much as the crow.
I think that luke evans know the character he feels the leading role that he gonna play but i hope that the accident not happens once again on luke this time because we don't want any mistakes what happened to Brandon was a tragic accident Luke is my favorite
Brandons one liners in this movie were always slightly sarcastic, but they were STRONGLY tinged with vengeance and pain. They were supposed to be funny, but no viewer ever could laugh, the seriousness was too strong.
