I don’t believe that Adam existed. His dad was gone and mom worked all the time and he was often left home alone. I believe he wanted a friend and love and that where Adam came along. Notice how Marlin never looked back or talked to Adam when he was sitting in the back of the car. And when Rya asked Candy if Danny was a twin she never really gave her a answer, she changed the subject.

I think Danny’s dead twin, his friends in school, Ariana, Annabel, the Israeli guy, are all real but were killed intentionally or accidentally at one point but now are all alters.

Yeah, you nailed it, the paintings in his book, which was partially burned will turn out to be all of the 24 + identities that he has, each serving a purpose to protect, socialize, entertain and take care of Danny. DID was known of but the case that inspired this series is what really showed psychologists/ psychiatrists how many identities someone can have unbeknownst to them. I think they will elaborate on the story (that is why it's not directly based on the Billy Milligan Case) - but it didn't totally sink in for me until Angelo came into the "Ghost House" (an abandoned house) and said "you broke my nose Danny!" that is when I thought about the weed in the locker, the magic, how one friend could be just a personality of his that is getting into and out of his locker and pockets, and the main character is called Danny Sullivan, which sounds a lot like Billy Milligan. That being said- in simplest terms, to enjoy this. Danny is a VERY unreliable narrator. So unreibale he doesn't even know it. I enjoyed everyone's performances. The next 5 weeks are going to be slow as the limited- series unfolds. Thank you.

Yes, ive watched The Crowded Room. It's really good. I too don't understand why it has gotten so much hate. Tom Holland's acting is amazing. He is definitely growing as an actor. I can understand why he's taking a break from acting. This role definitely took an emotional toll.

Definitely all in his imagination in episode 1 if you didn’t catch it they show Danny (Tom Holland) shoot the gun at Angelo after “Yitzhak” beats him but in episode 3 it’s actually shown to us the viewers that “Yitzhak” was the one that shot the gun. It could’ve been missed by a lot of us and it was missed by me in first watch because that moment was shown for a brief second. It’s at the end of episode one when Rya (Amanda Seyfried) asks him what happened Yitzhak pause it at 55:16

The friends have to be real because Angelo interacts with them as well,unless he's imagining those interactions

Everyone but the therapist and the police are figments of his mind. How did Angelo know where he was staying? 🤔 another personality

You're reading too hard into it. You say it's strange he always has someone to help him out when he needs it. " well yeah no shit he has friends lmfao. Also, could it be they are actually real people? What evidence says he's got split personality? If he did, why didn't he already know ahri before meeting her? Are his friends family and parents just not real either? Also, witnesses said they saw ahri, they knew about her before they even questioned him.
