Cyborg definitely had his hype squad and he is dope. Though Crown had it though. Very versitile, a great storyteller with a a great range of movements.
Cyborg won, his round ended early because it would have been a slaughter with the crowd bias which is good sportsmanship from Cyborg. Cyborg does half-hour battles with krump music against the best krumpers, trust me he had plenty of gas in the tank.
Crown won imo too, and the crowd was with Cyborg, but Crown doing stuff like 4:00, and stuff like at 8:07 and 8:15 when Cyborg's round isn't even over don't help tho. The crowd is gonna be against him for sure then, especially when he's palming peoples faces like that. He's a brand new person and he's making himself a crowd villian.

Cyborg won no doubt, it’d be interesting to see a rematch with more versatile tracks tho.

You didn't see Wackxxxxy come on that type of timing against Queen Naab in this event and they gave her her hype and respect. (btw check that out🔥 I personally think Crown won tho.
I see people hating on the hat tric because it wasnt much but its not what you do its how you do it, to match that tric into song perspective and be on point about it was CRAZY, you’re not really into this if that didnt make you want to go nuts….the execution of that was way too precise not to have gotten the hype it did, but besides that he was already rip’n shit, cant take that away from him. cyborg uses tight eyez and bdash's 'machine' character and has truly made it his own, insanely buck. the crown genuinely surprised me though he should have gotten way more hype

Everyone was cheering for crown, but buckness took over. I’ve looked at this like 15 times on crowd reaction and cyborg darn near had the whole venue go nuts!

The CROWN hands down. And I agree he didn't get the love there, but HE has love online. HANDS DOWN TO THE CROWN. He has personality in his movement, and you can feel it. Cyborg did his thing but had a backup squad and lacked versatility. Bow to the 👑

Nope, no matter how you put it, THE CROWN WON. A true dancer tells a story and conveys a message. Minus the back up squad, cyborg movements were NOT that impressive and if he sure took a good look without the hype, he himself should give credit where it's due, to a dancer that can move and offer a story in the moment. Yes he moved to beat, but skill wise, Hands down to THE CROWN🎉
I hope the Crown doesn't take the crowd situation too personally, I personally don't get it but that's just how it goes sometimes. I also understand that he isn't just a hobby dancer, this is very serious for him so it is fair for him to feel how he felt but I hope he doesn't hold on to that feeling and can just accept it as something that happens.
last year heavyweight session × FC crowd is hyping both dancer, im dissapointed by this year event. You can look all of the video, they like literally only hyping the krumper
oh no HE DID take take it personally, he was on his ig story reposting every single video of someone praising his round, and he reposted Bam from dragon houses Facebook status bashing the French scene. He needs to understand the French scene is biased and unfriendly to newcomers and you have to earn their respect. It was like that even for the twins, who are like the crown jeweled of the French scene in terms of visibility, the scene didn;t like them at all at first, even when they came back to the scene they had to regain respect.
@@makesmartTROYces Every scene is biased, French people are just very vocal so it's more transparent with them. I think he could have gotten more love though, I think the silence on his round hurt a lot more than them going crazy for Cyborg.
Ordinarily The Crown should have taken this but his energy just wasn’t right and I could feel it. No matter how good you are, you should learn to take a loss well. More so, dancers need to learn to dance for themselves first before dancing to the crowd. Why I like Alex. He dances to the music and the crowd take notes. Doesn’t care if he gets their hype or not cuz he knows he’s killing it and even if the crowd don’t show him love real dancers know wassup. The Crown did so well but he kinda got sentimental over the fact that he wasn’t get as much hype as Cyborg and started fighting rather than dancing. That’s not a good energy and people could tell he’s getting salty about it. Cyborg came correct especially with his energy and well executed kill offs so props to him.

Cyborg knew how to and when to hit those beats better than crown in fact by far it’s all clearly stated ..no fake hype is here ..if crown really had the energy to compete with cyborg to that capacity he would have done the same ..never the less crowns an absolute and elite dancer that we can’t take out from him but his Krump fusion needs proper retouch ..Rubix obliterated Jamsey, the same would have been for this battle.
I enjoyed the exchange for the first round and a bit but then I got confused because they both had 2 minutes or so 1st round, then the crown then cyborg then the crown again , ? 😢😂
Cyborg won it. Crown was good but these songs are pretty well known in the krump scene so him not knowing them in a krump competition definitely didn't help lol. There's times he knows songs and his opponents don't and he usually wins those battles so you can't complain when it's the other way around. When you miss a beat to these dramatic tracks it's very noticeable and takes away from the flow so much. Idk why he was so emotional, sometimes you lose. and he definitely lost.
Knowing him personally bro trains everyday to all types of music including he definitely knew those songs cause his musicality was still unmatched even in this battle the love was just not reciprocated because of the audience Europe is very favored on there own

This is probably the best example of this fact: No dance style can beat Krump. It’s just too thoroughly DESIGNED to be a battle style. 2 dancers at their best, one is a krumper-Krump will win. Much respect to The Crown also, hands down one of my fav dancers and absolutely unreal in this battle.
I completely understand what you mean, my friend even has this saying, "krump has plot armor" lol. BUT I also do not agree, I've seen GREAT krump get slaughtered when its not Krump music and even when it is I see them get out classed or just barely edging a win. Krump is mf crazy though and the energy is always unreal. At the end of the day it just depends on who is more in their bag.
Crown has the same problems as fikshun imo no solid foundation just a bunch of moves thrown out with no consistent flow. You can get away with that at redbull events or tiktok but don’t bring that shit to real events like summer dance, fusion concept, or any krump event

This is a easy example of a kill off. I can dance for 5 mins have all the moves and lose to a krumper who dances for 30 seconds but hits live moments aka raw musicality...thats why the crowd reacted it was live not reheaesed moves like the other dancer. Krump is 2 live 2 raw for any other dance form. Nothing compares. The moves come from within your spirit at that moment not rehearsed meaningless moves like crown was doing. 🤦🏽♂️ mad love to both dancers still krump won . being more versatile doesn't mean you got a good round. Thats 1. And 2 don't judge krump with the rules of hip hop or whatever, krump has its own rules, and its own language. Except itt wasn't a krump battle, it's all styles with krump music. The battles are 1 non-krumper and 1 krump ambassador. They did similar event last year as well.

Different songs different feelings. These are krump songs so without power and sharp movements it doesn’t feel right. Cyborg took both rounds for sure but they should do a rematch with pure hip hop. Then that would be fair.
