“The Crucifixion and Resurrection”
In a very faraway land, a long, long time ago, there lived a very special man named Jesus. Jesus was known for his immense love for everyone, performing marvelous acts, and teaching people to be kind and take care of each other.
One day, Jesus and his friends went to a city called Jerusalem. While they were there, some people didn’t understand Jesus’s message of love and decided they had to stop him. Even though Jesus only wanted to help and teach about love, these people took him to the city’s rulers.
The rulers made a very sad decision: they said Jesus had to be placed on a cross. This makes us feel very sad, but Jesus knew this had to happen to teach the world about love and forgiveness.
So, Jesus was placed on a cross on a hill. His friends and some people who loved him were very sad and would miss him a lot. But something incredible was about to happen.
After three days, something wonderful happened. Jesus came back to life! Yes, as incredible as it may seem, Jesus showed everyone that love is stronger than anything, even stronger than death. His friends were filled with joy to see him again and understood that Jesus was there to teach them that love and kindness would always prevail.
Jesus told his friends that they must share his message of love, forgiveness, and hope with everyone. And then, Jesus ascended to heaven, promising to always be with them, in their hearts.
