The Crumbles Tramway, Eastbourne 1961 

Brilliant film , thank you for posting, made my day. The Trams were moved to Seaton in Devon in 1969-70 and its our 50th year at Seaton next year. I drive at Seaton and have done for 41 years .It was at Eastbourne from 1954-1969

Thank you for showing this footage. As a child I can remember going on these trams as a treat with my Grandma. I can remember that one of the conductors was a little bit cheeky with her! During my school years I would talk about the trams but not many of my peers would remember them and I would think that perhaps I had made it up as a good memory. Well now I know I didn't make it up but it is still a good memory.

Too late to get to Eastbourne to ride them, but now it’s a ‘must do’ to get to Seaton to ride, and every time we get the chance to go.
