@@lordlucan3706 Not so funny how the lord lucans got their titles and their stolen Irish lands murdering the majority of the Catholic Irish with the war monger oliver cromwell. 350 years later and the dead still want revenge. Parasitic english Prctestants.
@@lordlucan3706fakelard, your mentality is exactly why the radical left have gain3d power and why islam has risen. You are type that runs behind a skirt to hide.
The Crusaders killed fellow Christians, murdering clerics and violating nuns, looting churches and cathedrals, sacking Constantinople the centre of Eastern Christianity... All for being the wrong kind of Christian. They also killed a lot ofJews.....Is that what you want to return to? Crusader only has positive connotations in Catholic Western Europe.
They're also in the US, the US is a manipulated giant being destroyed slowly, has been for many decades. It's not in charge of anything.@@suzukimethracer7796
Thanks for posting!! I hope to never be as thirsty as these warriors were. I'm sure there were a few warriors having heat cramps. Granted, I'm sure they had water bladders.
If I recall correctly, there were no Palestinians in that time, it is a word much later said and read some documents that Europeans referred it to the Holy Land
Never in history. The word was invented by the great Homosexual leader of modern palestine Yasser Arafat the bugger of Arab boys, in 1967...Never before did the Arab colonialsts of Ancient Israel use that term, not even in the 1920's thru 1967...
@@AW33COM if the Crusades hadn't beaten themselves silly against the Holy Land when they did, Europe would've been overrun before the HRE was even a thing. They blunted some very hard beatings. Did they accomplish what they set out to do? Debatable. Did they have a point? Yes
@@AW33COM You do know why the Pope called the 1st Crusade, right? Until then Islamic armies has been ravaging through Christian lands for over 300 years, had conquered Spain and were beginning to threaten the core of Christendom. Unlike the Islamic invasions, the Crusades purpose was not one of conquest, but a desperate attempt to recapture lost lands and to protect Christian pilgrims. I find it very sad that the brave efforts of the Crusaders are not given the honour and respect that they deserve. Our ancient foe has never stopped their thoughts of conquest for 1400 years, it is unfortunate for us that we do not remember why our ancestors fought.
ANOTHER GREAT FRENCH VICTORY The french duke of Aquitaine incindentally king of England won a battle with the french army after the return to France of Philippe, king of France that had already won the battle of St Jean d'Acre.
If you listened to the first 2 minutes, they marched only in the morning before the heat of the day and made frequent rest stops near water. Where do you suppose each soldier would have stored his equipment if not on his person
Richard's caution followed by his full strike as elements of his army charged carried the day here. That account of the sudden mood change in the Crusader army was telling.
You’re videos are amazing, dude. I can’t wait for you to make videos featuring the Battle of Kadesh (1274 B.C.E.) and Suppiluliuma vs. Tausret (non-historical) for Pharaoh, the Battle of Watling Street (61 C.E.) and Carthage vs. Royal Scythia (non-historical) for Rome II, and the Siege of Milan (452 C.E.) and Vandals vs. Picts (non-historical) for Attila. Keep up the spectacular work👍!
The production on this is sick. It would be cool if there was a summary of the statistics of each army, like the info on starting numbers of soldiers cavalry archers, casualties, etc make it easier gauge context
The Creator GOD, JESUS, bible are insulted & neglected by 99% of Christian clergy who are LAW trashing, bible warping HERETICS and have corrupted civilization!! Western culture is perverted & depraved moving to barbarianism...
Neither side would have marched while wearing armor. They have worn cooler clothing - very lose knitted wool or even cotton. They would not have put their armor on till they knew battle was to be joined.
Interesting, but I wish you would've shown those two first knights charging the opponent on horseback followed by the rest of the Hospitaller & French knights on horseback in the rear of the column. It would have been more historically accurate than a general Hospitaller Crusader foot soldier charge.
If only the Crusader forces maintained discipline and cohesion as well as the knightly orders, the Crusaders never would have lost a battle. Their issue was always petty squabbling between lords. Half the amount of troops and an overwhelming victory
crusader made big mistake i see,the have to put the ones with the long speers on the front to block the horses. in total war i used always to do may dammage to the horsetroops. (phalanx we called right) but video is very good, its a litt pitty you not show map where there are ,you have this in total war. its should be usefully ,but anyway your videos is great. 👍👍👍👍

One problem with this video, there’s never been any country called Palestine, God himself gave that land to the Jews in Genesis “From the great River of Egypt to the Euphrates River”!
@@cinematicbattles559 well the animation is great, just as good as a real movie animation i really enjoy watching these videos and they've taught me soo much, things i didn't even know happened, thanks to you now i know. so thank you for making the videos that makes history come to life and fun to learn!
Uhm go read a book During that time the area corresponding to present-day Palestine, including Jerusalem was referred to as ‘Filastin’ derived from the ancient Roman and Byzantine name for the region, Palaestina. Which itself comes from the Greek “Palaistine” (Παλαιστίνη). The Greeks used this name to refer to the land of the Philistines (Philistia), a people who lived in the southwestern coastal area of modern-day Palestine in ancient times. The name ‘Filastin’ was used in various administrative and geographic contexts, particularly by the Arab Caliphates that ruled the region prior to the Crusades and during the Ayyubid dynasty under Salah ad-Din. The Palestinians are the most indigenous people according to DNA tests. They later on converted to Islam from various religions, like Judaism, Christianity, Samaritan, Polytheism

The greatest victory of Crusaders??? Is that really true or just an exaggeration? Saladin was fighting against entire Europe from Acre to Arsuf to Jerusalem and crusaders were receiving study stream of reinforcements and supplies and provisions, while Fredrick Barbarossa was on the move through land route. There were minor battles while crusaders were on the March and no decisive engagements occur and Saladin's army remain largely intact. The objective of the Third Crusade was to capture Jerusalem which never been achieved despite the large-scale mobilization of Western crusaders. It is always the bigger picture which maters, but you may however can call it greatest victory but Saladin able to defend and hold Jerusalem successfully.
