Thanks for doing this song. It reminded me of what I learned about the personhood of my son while I carried him. Sadly lost him to miscarriage (NOT induced), and have been speaking up about how the babies in the womb have their own thoughts, preferences, emotions, wills, etc. at less than 8 weeks post-fertilization since then. Inspired me to do song lyrics for babies lost in miscarriage. Would have to look back at my notes to see whether I did just one song or two because of learning about his personhood (though I've done other songs, like "Hit the Road, Roe" based on "Hit the Road, Jack").

Laura, I'm so sad to hear you thinking that way, God loves you so so much and he is a God of forgiveness. He knows your sorry and he understands all of what happened and what you've gone through, and he wants you to know that he forgives you. You can have faith that what Jesus did on the cross is enough, he paid the price for all our sins and he did it so we could be in heaven with him, so you could be in heaven with him. I pray that you can believe that, and that you can accept his forgiveness, and know that you have a precious child in heaven who you can one day be reunited with. God is not looking to bar you from heaven, he wants you there with him someday, he loves you so much!

WOW I went through the same thing when I was younger

I lean toward being more pro-choice because I think women (and all humans for that matter) should decide what to do with their bodies and its really no one else's business, but personally I wouldn't be able to have an abortion. I can see both sides of this controversial issue and it's important to be able to have an open and understanding dialogue and not just shut people down because you dont agree with them or you'e afraid to hurt someone's feelings. This is a super powerful song. Good on you for being brave enough to put this out there!
