just to make it clear, this frog is female. the rings behind her eyes are the same size as the eyes. the males have rings larger than their eyes. also, the throat is smooth and white. males have yellow throats.

I like the part where her screams are stopped by the water. But she was probably crying out of fear, especially due to holding her near your mouth (she might have thought she was about to become lunch). Which is unfortunate, because it _is_ very cute. We can say what we want about "bothering wildlife bad" (which I DO agree with), but fortunately it's just for a minute. And if you're upset by the video, you can still do something with that energy! You can go out there and clean up the litter that these poor guys eat or get stuck on and die from. Every broken bottle, every soda can, every fake worm a fisherman left behind- every bit truly makes a difference. I've been picking up bits of glass on trails I go down in the woods and such, and have a clear bottle that is now loaded with shards that could have ended up in a puppy's foot, or who knows where else. And it really didn't take a long time to start to add up. Every time someone passes a wrapper on the road and says "eh, someone else will pick it up"- well, it might be. Or it might never be. And then it ends up tucked in a bird nest, maybe eaten by a baby... tl;dr if you really hate animals getting tormented, don't just say something. DO something.

"Body shames" First off, frogs don't understand what we say, so it's not body shaming, it only cares about being scared, it wasn't harmed just scared. Also frogs like the water tf u mean chilling on a sunny day???
@dantevergil645 Looking back at this, I feel bad. Honestly it just sounds like it's crying (when it's probably not), I find it cute but also I feel bad. Imagine how stressed and scared the thing must've been. Even if no harm was done

If I remember correctly they make that noise so a bigger predator will come investigate and attack the creature attacking , or in this case, holding them. It's not hurt but he is trying to defend himself.
I know this is meant to be funny, but I can't help but feel bad for that poor frog. And that cry sounds really sad, like it's either wailing in despair or crying for help.
My brother and I sometimes caught a bullfrog that did something similar. I knew it was the same one because she was missing part of one of her toes on one of her hind legs.
First off, use gloves or at least keep your hands clean and watery. Their skin is very delicate. Also, he isn't fat, he's trying to be intimidating by puffing up. He cries to fend of predators. Other than that, have fun. I used to scout our little pond for frogs when I was a kid. They stopped being afraid of me. I saw every colour of every species of frog that lived in my region. I also had a frog yawn on my hand. That one wat my favorite. Little red queen of the pond. I had a waterworks playset, they didn't like the boats.
