There seems to be a channel called Imperial iterator who was doing the attenborough thing you originally did recently, Not sure if their channel is trying to emulate your approach or not but its odd.....nice work here also hope ya rebrands been goin well.
If the throne is keeping him alive.. and he is a perpetual. Then the question is... What way are they so? Just "reanimation" or how.. and even with how and why... Is the throne not the thing keeping him from returning to life.
do you have to play a the droning noise in the background? very aggravating to try and listen to the voice when its like im sitting on a plane next to the engine
"Soulless sentience is the enemy of all" is one of the Cult's primary teachings. So instead of worship or emulating they'd consider them one of the biggest abominations fathomable.
Me, a mechatronics engineer: From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine.Your kind cling to your flesh, as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass that you call a temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal

@@leeh6317 Necrons killed their Gods called the C'tan, shattered them into pieces. Each of which all have names. When the Emperor was still alive he beaten and sealed one of these shards underneath Mars. The people on Mars had an apocalypse that forced them to live underground. Overtime they found a powerful deity they believe resides in machines. This is that C'tan shard, and it's name is Void Dragon. It's one of Necron most popular model.
It is eerie to compare the Cult Mecanicus and how they see the machine spirit to the guys currently building AGI. Tech Priests they are, the Omissiah they want to bring about.
@@Scholarslore The reactions to OpenAI's Sora already had strong religious undertones, both in the rejection as well as with the embracing folks. Who knows, maybe the AI worshippers will indeed be seen as heretics, the ingredients are all there and mixed up already.
16:00 Well if this were all to be true then they should know the machine spirits speak to the Ork. For it is they who can put trash together and somehow make it fly to the moon. Now that's Machine spirit!
Perfect hearing these as sermons. Awesome. Some of these feel like they end rather abruptly. I suggest ending them with something similar to: AMEN. Maybe: MAY THE EMPERORS' HOLY LIGHT PURIFY AND GUIDE US TO ENACT HIS WILL FOR THE GLORY OF THE EMPIRE.
@Scholarslore If you need some ideas, let me know. I grew up on the stage and I've presented before thousands of people. This kind of stuff comes natural to me.
I really like how you chose to tackle lore videos, the documentary-esque narrators bring the whole thing together, the intonation work is great, and I enjoy your writing structure very much. Please keep at it, I'm personally looking forward to new Ork uploads.
I feel like you could easily make a pre-augmented or lightly augmented Conan - Cimmerian like tech barbarian character following The Riddle of Steel (which would be inline with the mechanics)
- THE "BIG 3" SINS [22:42] THAT WOULD BRAND ONE AS A "HERETEK"....... (ARCHMAGOS DOMINUS BELLISARIUS CAWL IN THE BACKGROUND THROWING UP "DEUCES" & "HORNS"... 🖕🏻🤖🤘🏻......🤣🤣🤣🤣😮
I’m getting a new prosthetic leg made, and I can have any pictures or icons placed under the resin. Mechanicus logo, or bloodseal from FullMetal Alchemist?
Warhammer 40k is an infantile power fantasy celebrating obsolete stereotypes of masculinity and power in a way so utterly over the top it hurts, still thoroughly drenched in 1980's zeitgeist to a degree bordering the comical. That's what I was thinking a mere two weeks ago after knowing about 40k being a tabletop strategy game derived from Warhammer including a book series and catching a few glimpses of artwork here and there. But I'm also into fantasy and scify world building and came across your hiveworld video. It absolutly wasn't what I would have expected from what little I had known and it made me realize how much I had made up my mind about it beforehand from a position of ignorance and bias. I immersed myself into the lore with friendly support of your channel alongside a small number of other channels and sites and meanwhile I can barely restrain myself from setting up an altar for the one and true _Emperor of Mankind_ at this point. Thank you so much for introducing me to this world which turned out to encompasses so many things I like, it contains so many fascinating ideas and concepts while somehow managing to merge fantasy and scifi, tech-shit and batshit mysticism perfectly in a way which I absolutly wouldn't have expected - the idea of the machine god for example somehow makes way too much sense as a concept, as something I could actually see emerge in a trans-humanist society as foreign as it might appear at the surface level. The whole setting manages to feature so many elements taken from our real history and culture but brings in enough of a twist to make it unique, interest and at times even challenging by bringing up or implying interesting questions and perspectives in regards to our shared reality - and although people are talking about the voice model it's your writing which drives it all home and making the Warhammer40k into something which might might actually exist somewhere somehow, It feels alive while I'm listening.Tomorrow I'll start to delve into the books.. Thanks again, and greetings from Berlin! 😁✊
"There is no truth in flesh, only betrayal." "There is no strength in flesh, only weakness." "There is no constancy in flesh, only decay." "There is no certainty in flesh but death." - Credo Omnissiah
I have listened to the whole series once in german. The Problem is, that sadlz the reader butchers many names and has a really deep and monotone voice. I recommend the books but not the german audiobooks
Where are you stealing this art from ? Some credit to those who spend their time making it would be nice. They too obviously love Warhammer, and are a huge part of your vids, yet get given no credit. It's not hard to pop a small url or artist name/link/insta in the bottom corner of each image.
