The Cultivation of Satori | Zen Buddhism  

Landscape photography was my doorway into satori, it was like stacking stones, until one day I saw over the wall, now I see it everywhere all the time. It was what I needed to see exactly when I needed to see it. I am very fortunate for sure.

It is more than a concept. It happens. You feel it. It sweeps you away completely for minutes at a time and is nearly impossible to describe. I felt like I was standing in a sky blue mist observing consciously every molecule in the universe, while also being every molecule at the same time. Looking in while looking out...amazing.

It feels like every mental & sensual border between the self and outer world dissolves. One feels everything, one is everything. No separation. Pure bliss. No fear. When I was first trying to comprehend the great teachings, one day I happened to be sitting on a rock outcropping in the Shawnee National Park in southern Illinois. I was resting and just set to a circular breathing exercise when I caught sight of a bird,whom I lost as it flew into the treetops at which time, within a second, came the realization that it joined the forest - I hadn't lost sight of the bird, I gained total perception of the forest-trees in the forest- birds, squirrels,in treetops -mice in the roots-hen of the woods mushroom in those tree roots- dirt around the roots- etc

Satori is the state of being content and peaceful inside, every adult person got into that state at least one time in their lifetimes and they didn’t even know how they got into it. The paradox is in order to get in that state you have to let go all the attachments therefore all worries in your mind like there is nothing important in the life but when you are in that state you are starting to build new attachments or you are reattaching yourself to the things you did let go before and with those attachments new worries are coming in and pull you out of that state. This is because it’s kind of a blissful state and you find peace in everything so you are easily being attached to them. You just have to learn not attaching yourself to anything and just staying neutral.

I experienced something when I saw and felt everything and everyone as one. It's hard to explain to many people because of how deep it goes. Even many scientists won't understand it because they have to experience that themselves to understand it. There are people who understood me when I was describing it to them. Nonetheless, I was taken back to when Anunnaki existed, and way, way earlier than that. I was shown the beginning of my Spirit. It's like I traveled through many universes in a blink of a second and back here to now very, very fast. I saw many, many, many universes all at once. And there is sooooooo much more space for new universes to exist that don't exist yet. That's why we are eternal, we always existed and will always exist in whatever shape or form, but you cannot ever not exist. Even when you don't exist, you still exist.

I think I've felt this many times for short periods of time ❤ I felt total peace, a profound feeling of gratitude and appreciation for being alive. Happiness. ❤

I first time read this word from the book named 'the Power of now' by echcart tolle. This is a amazing book on spirituality. I highly recommend to read this book just once, and I'm sure you would like to read it again.

I’ve been there

I was in my garden, I looked up at my huge 60 foot Aspen tree moving in the wind with the sun behind it, and found it was me.

The sad passing of my Mum a week ago triggered this in me.

I find this by listening to Afro-pop and smoking incredibly high thc levels of marijuana gotta mix them organic hemp roll I go out side late at night when it’s dark and then smoke while I watch constellations however you’re religion ask you to pray meditate or give thanks you should incorporate that heavily as well. Might help to keep a charm on you that you might find really sentimental things that help get your mind body and being in a super relaxed state.

I smoke marijuana and before I understood, I would tell people how when I get high and just sit the universe tells me all it's secrets. And it was the most amazing moment ever n you actually, well I do, I feel and know everything. But since I'm not disciplined myself enough I can't hold that state long. As soon as I acknowledge what I'm experiencing, it disappears like it never was there. It's the coolest I swear especially now that I knowi know. I will focus more on just... Sad its not a permanent one, for the past years I had more insight that I can count. Yet non remain, I experienced jealousy thinking how fortune some beings are for having a revelation that becomes final and they become enlightened, and there is some that need to keep getting the confirmation of this place of seeing. Or its just the play of the ego on a journey. Still some frustration arises.
