Mathew 19:12 says God PREFERS same sex relationships. Anyone collecting money for ministering or saying same sex marriage is a sin is now blacked out from the Holy Spirit and will be until they either repent or wait too late and die with the wicked. I am Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6 so any discrepancies in the bible are decided by me. The answer to end Covviidd is for the fake ministers to return the money.....

Dr.Tony Evans just like Dr John McArthur they both have earned degrees. It would be great if you would invite Dr Evans to G3 conference. Why not dialog on the podcast with him. Sense you can't understand his thought process brother in Christ.

Wait, how is Tony Evans's "Kingdom theology" idea any different than the CRT stuff? It's the same thing, just with a more "Christian" name. Oh, this makes me sad! I used to listen to his program on the radio on a regular basis when I first got saved. I had lost track of him through the years. I was sad to hear that his wife had died.

Yeah, seems like an attempt to Christianise CRT by merging the two into some kind of middle ground. Not helpful.

It's been horrifying to see even professing Christians and otherwise biblical churches now either openly supporting baby murder, or... just starting to go soft on it, talking about how we have to understand these women who want to murder their babies and how upset they are that some of them can no longer do that in their state. I just don't know what to do anymore. I am worn out from the last 2 1/2 years.

Wrong. The bible says a fetus is not living. The soul does not enter the body until birth. Being alive requires "the breath of life."

Major errors of the reformation is to treat the Bible as if it’s a coherent textbook of theology doctrine or morality as if the purpose of scripture is to give us a coherent account of Christian life. That’s not the point of scripture and nothing in the Bible says that about itself. You pick up the Bible and it is a disparate book of different genre cobbled together over thousand of years by different people without clear form of organization to it. The catholic position has always been that the Bible is more or less unintelligible apart from the structure of catholic sacred tradition (including the Catechism of the Catholic Church) that provides that coherence. Did Jesus tell us to believe some abstract theological doctrine like a proposition of the nature of God or salvation? Never. If fact what you find in Jesus’ pedagogical method is something different. Mark chapter 4 tells us that Jesus never spoke a word to the people without saying something in the form of parables. Matthew chapter 13 tells us that Jesus spoke in parables precisely because they are hard to understand. Jesus did not want to be easily understood. He wanted to be provocative. He wanted to be thought provoking. Jesus did teach by demonstrative provocation to reveal to the people their own hardness of heart. He showed them that they were unwilling to make a stand in favor of human dignity by forcing them to give an answer and they refused to do so. He deliberately transgressed social mores. He would eat with tax collectors and sinners, he would spend time with lepers, he taught his disciples to eat with unwashed hands. All these were to provoke a response, to generate an insight, to unveil a truth about people’s characters. Why? Because he was trying to reorient them in the world, not to an abstract set of belief system but to the actual dignity of human beings and an imitation to the love of God who causes the rain to fall on both the righteous and the wicked. The teaching of Jesus is deeply oriented towards the reformation of character, and that’s where this profound continuity with St Paul comes in. The whole point of the Gospel for Paul is that we should have the mind of Christ. The whole ministry of Jesus is about trying to elicit, provoke, invite, tease this transformation of consciousness so that we live these sacrificial lives in favor of the poor, the weak and the outcast. Paul says that’s the goal, to have this kind of mind. Paul’s message was to treat others better than yourself, live charitably in community reconciling differences and don’t sleep around. This is so difficult for the human person to follow. For St. Paul the tribal division he was concerned with is jews and gentiles, and the model of reconciliation is the self emulation of Jesus who was willing to be crucified and killed to serve those that otherwise would have an enmity with.

Did Jesus promise a book? Absolutely not. He promised one Church (Matthew 16;18 “And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.”). In John 21:25 we see that “There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.” In 2 Thessalonians 2:15 we see that Paul tells us “Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours.”; Did Jesus tell His disciples to bring scriptures with them? Absolutely not. Jesus told them “Take nothing for the journey, neither walking stick, nor sack, nor food, nor money, and let no one take a second tunic.” (Luke 9:3). Most people at the time of Jesus were illiterate, they did not need to read scripture for their salvation but scripture would be embedded in the liturgy of the Word. Luke 24:13-35 is an example of what Jesus did the first day after he rose from the dead. (Road to Emmaus). He brought the two strangers that were going the wrong way (away from Jerusalem) to the point of eucharistic revelation. If you believe in every word in the Bible, then you must believe in the authority that has chosen which books belong in the Bible - the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Catholic faith is not a religion of the “book”, it is a religion of the Word. The Word that was made flesh to dwell among us to teach us, to heal us, and to die and rise for our salvation. If our protestant brothers say that anyone can interpret the bible by just reading it and be inspired by the Holy Spirit, then anyone’s interpretation of the bible can be fallible according to protestant theology. There is also only one Holy Spirit, so how can the Holy Spirit inspire different interpretations to each one of us? We are all people of traditions from the time we are born. We have both, human and sacred traditions. Even our protestant brothers have their own theological traditions, they go to school to learn their traditions and to learn the history behind scriptures, they teach traditions at their services, they tell their protestant brothers to buy books to learn about their theology. It doesn’t make any sense to say that you only need Sacred Scriptures. The doctrine of Scripture Alone touch by Luther and Calvin has brought many evil in this world. Think about the christian slave owners or the KKK who justified their actions by interpreting scriptures on their own. They said that black people were not our “neighbors” since they did not consider them to be humans. Why in heavens would you follow that doctrine? Why would you follow the doctrine of Luther who at first he said that jews were not converting to Christianism because the catholics had corrupted the Gospel, and when he saw that jews were not converting he called for harsh persecution of jews, which gave justification to the nazis to kill jews. If he hated jews, he would then also hate Jesus, Mary, Joseph and all the apostles and disciples who were jews. Why would you follow the doctrines of someone who hated jews? The best we as catholics can do is the teachings of the infallible Church founded by Jesus Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit. That Church founded by Jesus Christ needs to be infallible.

John Calvin believed in the sufficiency of scripture, which is why Vigril quoted him. The quote comes from Calvin's commentary on this passage.
