Lots of people berate him for his bass playing but I think he's been held back. He's the only one you see actually dancing about, moving and giving it some. His bass lines are not over the top sure but he's a bass after all, not a guitarist or a soloist. He's rhythm section, knows what's needed when and where and doesn't have to make a fool of himself by pretending his bass is a guitar. Always makes me cringe when someone does that cos the muddy sound is not musical. And don't get me started on slapping. Useless.
