I was there too at this show, 6/20. Of the hundreds of shows I've seen in my lifetime, there are no words to describe how epic this show was. I agree, protect this man at all costs.....
@@rubaidaallen2764 I so wish I could have seen all 3 shows. I am truly grateful to have seen just one. There are only a handful of shows left on my bucket list now. Time to plan the next one.
How do they replicate this vibe, night after night, show after show? It is at once effortless and passionate, unfolding on a new path each time you witness it, from laid back to insanely aggressive and then calmly introspective, inviting everyone -literally everyone!- to join them in this amazing private world.
How is Robert's voice even more beautiful and ethereal than it was 35 years ago?? I'm hard-pressed to think of a vocalist whose singing voice hasn't deteriorated by the time they're in their 60s. Edit: And to put on a 2.5 hour show at his age is remarkable.
I'm ashamed to say as a 67 year old lifelong fan of great music I have never listened to The Cure, apart from the singles I've heard. Robert Smith fascinates me, he seems very genuine and likeable. It's never too late.
I was there at MSG all 3 nights!! Best 3 nights of my entire life ❤ Robert Smith is incredible. His voice is better in person than on a recorder song, I don’t know how he can possibly sing like this every night! Night 3 was the most exciting because of the alternate ending, but if I could relive these shows, I would try to relive every single night
After catching the boys last night in Atlanta...shooting up my list of best musical bands of all time...The Cure. Fantastic band, fantastic music, fantastic lyricist. Probably my favorite of all time.

@@brianpeterson6481 Dude HOW? How his voice still the same? I hear but I cant believe it. Its just perfect. after decades of life listening to various styles of music and bands, not listening to some and listening again years later, I can say with certainty that The Cure is my favorite band. I listened to their songs so much in different years of life. It's probably the band I've listened to the most in my life, even though I haven't listened to it in many years. Nowadays I listen to it practically every day. There are so many good songs and I don't know any band like them. I also really like Radiohead and Arcade Fire (and Depeche Mode, The Joy Fomidable, Bloc Party, Paramore). If you have any more suggestions.
He sounds perfect! It is not important, but I think he could dye his hair black. I do that and I'm much younger than him hahah. And he already wears make-up on shows... so dyeing his hair black wouldn't be so absurd.
I just saw them in Atlanta 3 nights ago. What an amazing show. Thank you for posting this. It was 40+ years coming. I've seen A LOT of shows over the years and somehow never saw them, even though Seventeen Seconds, Pornography and Faith will forever be a few of my absolute favorite records. I hope he lives forever
I m so glad today, by finding out some songs from The Cure I did not Know the, so wonderful master-pieces at all... they will stay with us for so long, Tks for posting it.... Cheers...
Was there last night. I was so happy when the concert started then the second song began and I immediately bursted out in tears -pictures of you- amazing vibe and the humility and beauty of Robert smith was very eclectic.
It looked as if he waved the applause into his body so he could linger with it for awhile. A standing ovation at Madison Square Garden? Who wouldn't do that?
i was screaming a forest so loudly people were staring. it's my favorite song ever, and robert smith still captures and grows on that exact vibe 40 years later❤
@@RobertSmithofficial Hello Robert Smith. I’ve been a Cure fan for over 10 years now and your music has shaped my life into something so beautiful and special. Your band are one of my biggest inspirations and I’m so grateful that my parents played them to me when I was young. Simon is one of my inspirations as well, and for a brief while, he was my number 1 bassist. I’m so glad to know that you guys are still around after 45+ years. Also a endless amount of respect for the Ticketmaster incident. I hope you, Simon and the rest of the band know about how much I love your music. Hopefully you’ll consider coming back to New Zealand sometime. You are literally a Cure for my happiness.
Thank you for sharing this! My wife and I have 3rd row floor tickets for Atlanta tonight. Been a huge fan for over 40 years. This is our first time. I fully expect to cry during the whole show.
What a long set! What must it be like to return to a stage like MSG that you sold out decades ago and have a full house once again. He's just as in love with his songs now. We're all in the midst of nostalgia and it's wonderful!
My first experience with the CURE was back in Nicaragua I listened to them on the radio became my favorite band my son took me to their concert in the Bay Area it was magical, like a twilight garden what a beautiful person is RS and the CURE long live the CURE for ever and ever ✌🏼✌🏼🌻✌🏼
Thank you! I was rockin' out in Section 109 - I got the lottery tix, then booked a plane ticket back to my home state, saw with sister and friend for gulp 40 years - it felt to good to be back, and it was The Cure that got me there... thank you so much for allowing me to re-live this!
A great posting!!! Many thanks. You have contributed to the grater good of humanity with this post. Am very grateful. All of we Cure fans are grateful to you!!
The key word here is "genuine". He is truly genuine in what he does, it all comes from the heart, you can tell in the emotion with which he sang the very first song. What band is not tired of touring after 4 decades, it's only natural, and yet here they are, as appealing as ever. I was fortunate enough to see them during their Disintegration tour, I don't need (or can!!!) explain what that was like........
Thank you for posting the concert!!! I was there with my mom and this was freaking amazing!!!!!!! I wished I was there both 21 and 22 in NYC but it was great. Thank you.
Three nights of pure bliss. I cannot wait for the Cure to return. I’ve been going to their concerts since 1992, but this tour and the Wish tour are particularly exceptional for me. Beautiful 🤩
Wow!!! Saw them in November in Italy.. since then they almost never stopped touring EU and US.. amazing determination and passion on what they do.. “end song” in my opinion is one of the best songs ever.. he always cry during this song.. waiting anxiously for the new album and again in tour 👏 best band ever since the 80’s
Holy crap, thank you so much for helping me relive this life-changing experience! I was there on night three with a different setlist, but these songs still bring tears of joy to my eyes 🖤
Saw Bob and the boys in Cleveland a few weeks back and they sound as great as ever. The iconic voice that Smith has after all these years is quite amazing and I would rank his Cleveland show in my top 5 of all time.... I figure that he will probably hang them up soon and I'm damn glad I witnessed the Cure!
Thank you for this. I was not able to get tickets for this concert and being a fan going back to 85 it was heartbreaking. He has not miss a beat. He looks as passionate in this concert as before.
I was there and I’m so glad this full show is online. I shared several songs on my channel but you got the whole thing! Thank you! I really appreciate you uploading this wonderful performance. Cheers! ✌🏼😎
I went to the last one 7 yrs ago, which was my first cure show and man was I crying. It was s dream come true since i was a little boy. I foundout about this show late and couldn't go, but hopefully oneday I will again
Estuve el martes 20 con mi marido, celebrando 24 años de matrimonio..de Chile al MSG..y la voz de Robert S..no ha cambiado, la misma desde sus inicios🤩🤩🤩
Sorry you missed the shows. It was sublime. The reaction from the audience brought tears. The most beautiful shows. I hope they come back soon so you can experience them live. Amazing 🤩
