Nice to hear that !! I've come from far away to London, to watch the English bands LIVE in the 80 and 90's, seen many of them, while the local kids here been watching those "strange" sounds from US !! I've stayed in London, but still listening to these good "old" English Bands !!

My first taste of magic was The cure in san Francisco 84 85 the beginning of my will to live and find my true love stories. Takes my breath away and I am sooo making it to cali July 27 and bring the soul to the infinite beginning of this journey. Thank you universe for this blessing and magic miracle sign. To hear them live again is a dream vision of truth and so much more I am absolutely honored to have this opportunity the timing couldn't be more divine thank you heavens above thank you from my heart. The cure I need to be all I am for us to all succeed. So grateful so overjoyed and so loving my paths directions soulworking in the Soulular. Thank you!! So frustrating how everyone's an expert and thinks they have better judgement than Robert. Its a massive insult to him and to Jason. I bet even Boris thinks these haters are clueless sheep. The Cure are amazing and i pity anyone who can only look for fault when there's so much enjoyment to be had. I really appreciate the positive replies.

maybe the clueless sheep are the ones that follows all that Robert puts out. the good drums sounds ended with jason. period. 20 years with The Cure!!! has he created any interesting drum intro in the level of Inbetween days, WCIBY or even JLH??? and there are more facts that you can learn by reading drummers forums and such.

22 years when Jason Cooper is the drummer. And you it has been 15 years since you keeps repeating to us the same stupid things. All the drummers of the group are very good drummers, each with the style. You quote us from songs, kept silent really listened to Trilogy? You listened to the version of The kiss? Last dance, Closedown and all the others about which you speak? And you find that he plays badly? Your hatred discredits you. You say anything. You have followed the tour of the last year? You really find that he plays badly? Oh I have an idea, buy you a drum kit . Go, a simple to begin: closed to me. I shall like very much hearing to play " Sir I am the best of the world " . Pathetic.

Yes, it's true ... Boris is a freaking drum god and Jason is not ... but Boris left, and it's not like Jason sucks, he's just not Boris-level. We got spoiled. It's not like the songs are now terrible, just not AS great. We'll live. And so will the Cure. Hell I miss Porl in this vid, too.

(25 years later…) I just feel like he’s not a good fit. I almost stopped watching this several times because his playing. He has improved, but I just hate his style. It’s very loose. Lol was simple but effective. Andy was a monster player. Boris was a god. Jason…is one of the main reasons I rarely listen to anything post 1993 (records or shows). I also didn’t enjoy Porl’s contribution after he rejoined the band. I love Reeves, and it’s obvious that he has breathed new life into the band…they’re all so much better and more intense live than they used to be, especially Robert. Blah blah blah.
