It's evident that this was around the time when Craig was still battling substance issues as he seems more awkward than he usually is. Otherwise, it's still lovely to see Robert on this show. It's cute how he tries to remain polite even when talking about something he doesn't like. I wish Craig had interviewed Robert on his own show. Thank you for sharing this.
@@j9andphoenix Yes, he most certainly is. And more people who are not familiar with him will likely see his name in the video description before they see it in this comment thread. The purpose of saying "the host" in the comment was so that more people would register the joke. I.e., those who came here only from a reference of Craig or Robert, for example, wouldn't be lost. Calling him "the host" is in no way a sign of disrespect, as he IS the host of this show. HOWEVER... I will add his name in parenthesis to be more all inclusive, and to better mitigate triggering anyone else in the future. Good day to you both! edit: It may be disrespectful to refer to him as "ITS", though.
Probably not household names in 1990, because they are known for production. Music fans would have known them. I did at the time, but I was a fan of the Time and Janet Jackson, so of course...
Yeah they were among the most famous producers in the world, Control was four years earlier by this point and most of the singles from that had been UK hits. Hardly ‘household’ names mind.
The truth is while it was a massive hit and it's got me to buy the record when i was 12, Unbelievable was not a good calling card for EMF because none of their other songs truly sounded this way and it wasnt long before it was my least favorite song on the album. It has also aged worse than anything else on that record.
Hasn’t got a clue ? She said the pixies were ahead of their time This is less than a year before the release of nevermind Pretty on the money if you ask me
