From their Trilogy set at the Tempodrom , Berlin The Cure conclude their performance with their greatest ever psychedelic freakout ...The Kiss. Recorded in november 2002.
This is an epic performance. For most other bands this would be their main headline song but for The Cure this is just one of a hundred epic songs...it's almost like this one gets forgotten. Best band in the world..ever, both in terms of music and people.
I agree with your comment about people forget this song because of all the other great songs. I am drinking at the river (Havasu) I started singing this song acapella.and found myself in a quartet with us all singing "get it out get it out,get your f****ing voice out of my head ". The fans are also pretty epic !!! For years I thought I was the only one who listened to this song.figurtivly speaking
No other band is actualy (2022) better than The Cure. The European Tour in this year was very intensive and expansive. Robert Smith is one of the best frontmen ever, carismatic and with a awesome and unique voice.
I could see them every fckn day of my life like it's the first time! I never tired of any of their songs oh my god we're so bleesed to have lived at the same time as them and that Robert it's such a sane persona no drugs no vives... Always the same girl? I mean who rockstar does that and gives us so much greatness for such long time, not even trent reznor... All His latests albums? Meh... 😂🤣😂🤘🏻😎
The fucking concentration on Robert's face in this opening is out of this world, and he is absolutely knackered when he finishes, simply saying 'Fuck' to himself. This is truly phenomenal.
I think even Aliens will agree that "The Cure” are the best band on Earth. The changing moods on every song... Rage, Love, Unger, Depression, and so many others.
Fucking breathtaking...that's a fucking tongue kiss in my ears lol....I don't see anyone else writing sick guitar solos like this except him. He deserves more credit for his skill here! Fuck yeah!
@@BarRoomFight oh yes this is the best orgasmic and sexual song I have ever heard in my life!!!!I love Robert Smith so much and I will follow him forever
@@kurt2890 the A Forest solo is cool, but it's amateur city, and one of many songs that creates the popular impression that Smith is some kind of guitar minimalist who's incapable of the sort of Hendrix-esque stuff in this song.
@@sdjslkdjlsskldjslkdjsl8262you’ve never seen the live version of A Forest from the In Orange concert. His playing is very He deux influenced there but otherworldly
@@clvrswineI’m a guitarist and a singer and been listening to the Cure since the 80s and this person is right. He’s playing very stabbing out of sync guitar line and singing a soaring melody at the same time. Tricky. Very tricky.
By far my favorite song of all time! Captures my raw emotion Exposed my soul The way that gutair speaks Make me feel so out of control But at the same time...whole..❤️
So jealous. Wish I could've been there but I guess I can't complain too much. Been fortunate enough to see em live 6-7 times and in 4 different states. Best band ever hands down!!!
A set like this! 1. 10.15 saturnday night 2. A reflectshone 3. The holy our 4. One hundreadlock years 5. Shake god shake 6. In between daze 7. A Kiss 8. Planesong 9. Oh pen 10. Wand 11. Out of this whirled 12. Loss 13. Underneath the scars
That would be the most excellent concert,1St song off every album,, Wish it would happen,The CURE highly underrated ,,Robert Smith is a master musician and song writer. Defintily among the best of all time..He stands among the Gods of Rock n Roll..
I still remember the day, me as a teenager, buying the big orange double LP for an incredible amount of money, putting the needle down and it starts with this
Don't put too heavy a meaning onto it. He was imagining a 4 year old throwing a massive tantrum at having to kiss a wrinkly old cigarette smoking aunt.
The CURE stands over the genre, typical frame of rock and stands over the macho of rock. Their music sounds fresh and beautiful always I feel they have concept on self esthetics definitely. And make me to trace the inside of mind also to look over the dream and fantasy Sometimes I feel to see a great epic poetry, or to see a cute little tale Their music has unicque identity, but brew up varialbe shape I was holic!
He. must be the most. underrated guitarist alive. What a curious vein he tapped in the collective. Something gothic, grey, cerebral. Captures the mess and wretched nature of immature love and passion.
I love EVH PLAYING But this song by Robert Smith stands among even the best players of all time....Page,Clapton,Jeff Beck,Blackmore, just a master piece of playing, very very difficult to play it grabs your soul....I love Slayer Vinnie Vincent ,Metallica,Anthrax,Priest, the KISS is right up there with any song by these respectful bands ,,, Thanks to whoever put up this video, give us more... THX THX THX
I saw this show in Brussels (the other two shows were in Berlin). Absolutely the best Cure show i have seen (and i have seen them for about 13 times now) ... and (perhaps) the best concert ever i have been to.
Forget the Beatles Forget the Stones Forget the Floyd Forget the Muse ONCE HEARD ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, YOU WILL NEVER FORGET THIS MASTER PEICE OF ROCK,, ON LEVEL WITH ALL THE CLASSICAL COMPOSERS,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Mr Smith thank you ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Encapsulating on the primal urges we have towards one another; just trying to connect. Such a lovely product of Living, Breathing and Acting. Just love the massive guitar symistry between you and your bandmates.
Robert, because he is a singer too will be underrated as a guitar player. Artists like him and Prince that could do both are rare diamonds in the music.
