I honestly think her career wouldn't have ended if she hadn't attacked betrayed and bullied Ready to Glare. Ready to Glare (RTG) is such a sweet cinnamon roll, she is so well loved (and rightfully so) by all of RU-vid that there is no possible way Creepshow can ever come back from this. But if Creep hadn't shown her true face her career probably wouldn't have ended no matter what she did. She was just such a pathological liar I really think she would have always had supporters. But even her supporters love RTG and trust RTG more. There was literally no reason for her to bully RTG! None at all! RTG is a good and honest person and literally thought they were friends! I just can't understand why creep would attack and bully her like that? It has to be out of jealousy. There is literally no other explanation.

The creepiest and most psychotic part of all this is that Shannon got into a relationship with this guy who was OBSESSED with his ex girlfriend and thought it was a good idea to continue to stalk her with him for years.
That part makes me a little sad for Shannon. It doesn’t excuse a single action she has taken, but how sad a life it must be… knowing you will never measure up the woman your husband is so clearly still in love with. Shannon will never captivate her husband the way Emily does. And that does make me feel bad for her.

If you spend the time to look through the comments (I recommend doing with sound muted unless you want to listen to her ramble about how she’s “not a stalker”, while proving she is), you’ll see accounts like Stan CreepshowArt, and a couple others that are either obsessive super fans, or really poorly done sock accounts. Nearly every comment calling Shannon out has one of these comments saying “but she made SUCH a good video 🥰” and arguing with the commenters calling her out.
It's funny and all that CreepShow revealed herself to be Emily's stalker by showing us info she would never have without being a stalker... but can we just give some props to Emily for a sec? Heroin is a hell of a drug to get clean off of, let alone while being stalked, LET ALONE when your stalker is actively trying to sabotage your employment and temporarily puts you on the streets.

I think when she reached out that time as the girl with the younger brother, it was an attempt to officially stop the stalking in a way where her and her husband would be blameless and so Emily knew it was over, as well. I think she just realized she had a lot to lose by the stalking at that point in time.

It always astounds me how much Anthony is looked over when creepshow art is being discussed. I understand why - shannon is the main "celebrity" in our case - but he literally allegedly SAed Emily, was at least partially complicit in her stalking, and obviously guided Shannon's final call-out video because it had contents way before shannon knew either Anthony or Emily. I know there's no feasible way of holding him accountable for all of the above, because most of it was done against Emily and as the victim, she's chosen to move on but... Man, it just hurts to not have this ab*sive a$$hole receive virtually no flack.
Anthony highkey sounds like a sociopath, enabling Shannon and to an extent using her as a weapon to attack Emily. It’s a prime example of a narcissist not fathoming that others could be smarter than them or have a wider perception of something compared to them. She couldn’t fathom that we would see her behaviour for what it is. She imagined playing the audience like a composer would music. But her manipulation failed and did the opposite. When I talk about the ego of a narcissist with my students, I literally tell them about CSA and her downfall. That video she posted on NYE is a great study once you are filled in on the full backstory. Of course the video was also revenge. Probably more so than a manipulation tactic. The way she spoke to Tipster (used him as a representative punching bag for all the creators that abandoned their friendship with her cos she’s a monster) screamed petty vengeance.

Only fourteen minutes in, but allergies can be very weird and complicated. My daughter was “born allergic” to peanuts, almonds, milk, soy, pecans, and cashews. She is not even one and a half now, and has outgrown several of those allergies but also developed new ones. She’s no longer allergic to peanuts, almonds or milk but now is allergic to beef and eggs. Allergies can develop or “remiss” at any given time, for any given reason. It’s fucking weird. And it’s not something like, oh her belly hurts or she doesn’t like these. We have epipens and emergency action plans because it’s serious. Many genetic and environmental factors play into it.

Yes! And also, allergies do NOT CARE what environment you did or did not grow up in!!!! I grew up with cats and dogs always present in the home, and went on to work with them, yet as a young adult I developed severe allergies to cats and also allergies to dogs and to bird feathers. So I chose to do immunotherapy because I had no plans to get rid of my pets or change my lifestyle going forward. I’m not a registered vet tech and after my initial immunotherapy wore off I did it again, and that time cats were less allergic and dogs were higher! Go figure. :) Allergies are weird.
yes! i started having a weird reaction to all fruits with skin back in 2020. now the only fruit that gives me that reaction is cherries (that i know of)
I used to be allergic to mosquitoes. If I got bitten once, I'd get a big extremely itchy bump where I was bitten & similar smaller bumps on random body parts but that just doesn't happen anymore. Now, I just get 1 seemingly normal bump that doesn't itch horribly.

When Emily premiered her video I remember a bunch of accounts just filling the chat saying all sorts of vile things about Emily and that Shannon did absolutely nothing wrong. I know it's a small detail but I feel it further damns anything Shannon says because even if it *somehow* wasn't her, it makes her look bad and deranged enough to psych people up to try and hurt Emily. Everyone in that chat knew who it was and called Shannon out, but it was very surreal to experience even as just a viewer. Emily is an absolute badass with how humanely and calmly she has handled this whole debacle.
I was present when it happened and good lord the amount of terribly done sock puppet accounts that we're attacking Emily or pretending to be like 13 years old so people couldn't hate on them because they were a kid, plus the names were super generic, so it was clear they were fake accounts. every time one popped up everyone was like "go away Shannon". at this point i wonder how many emails Shannon has to keep up with this 💀

Oooh I have a similar story I didn't have place to talk about before I was vibing in a chat of a livestream counting of Shannon losing subs. It was the most wholesome chat ever. People were celebrating Shannon losing her career, and were discussing all sorts of nice things actually, being supportive as hell, I remember discussions about selfidentification, labels and surprisingly how school is structured in different countries. For real, my best expirience in chat Then suddenly this account appeared, with generic name and no profile pic, and said something along the lines of "creepshow art is innocent, she did nothing wrong, what even did she do". Everyone started clowning on them, saying "ok Shannon", "go away Shannon", explaining in details what happened and such. And then (lmao) this account did 180 and said something about "ew I mean Shannon is gross she is an idiot". It was EXACTLY like shit from lolcow, when Shannon berated herself to seem like it is not her. Everyone started clowning even more, I tried to look up this channel and found nothing, they didn't say anything either. To this day I'm 100% convinced it actually was Shannon. Or it would have been the best troll-impersonator ever existed on earth

something really random that helps to support that is shannon claimed that she was risking her livelihood by "stalking" emily yet she stated several times before that she didn't make much money off youtube bc of the topics she talked about and that it wasn't her main source of income. emily actually claimed BEFORE shannon ever mentioned money that youtube was her job and was how she made money and accusing shannon risked her job. it's just one little detail that has always bothered me bc even when shannon was being called out, she still couldn't help it and still stole emily's story

Peaches isn't all that clean either, a couple of my friends had difficulties with her as well. Just some weird drama that shouldn't have conspired in the first place and some other stuff but I don't want to speak on their behalf since I personally didn't have problems with Peaches. All I can say is that my friends were genuinely scared that she'd make the drama public and attack them even further, which very much was a possibility given her mental stability at the time.
@@RyzawaVT As I was part of that friends group, I can speak on one thing: while Shannon is a known liar and she never backed up anything with actual proof, what she said back then about Peaches did align with what me and that friends group experienced as well when it came to Peaches, which made hers (and lots of other people's) claims believable at the time. Now, without speaking for anyone else and without going into details, I can vouch on a personal level that I witnessed Peaches being a very petty drama fuelled individual who could turn on her friends pretty much on a whim and weaponize her Twitter account whenever she felt wronged, even to the point of manufacturing drama out of thin air at times just to get an empathetic reaction from her followers. She did that a LOT. You had to be closer to her to notice this pattern and I don't blame her mostly kids and young teens fanbase for enabling her behaviour since they lacked the maturity to know better, but there was definitely something very unhealthy going on there and several people were hurt by it over time, not just me and my friends. So yeah, it's a bit irritating to see her washed of all her past wrongdoings because of the Shannon drama that blew up and painted her as a victim and now that's all people are seeing her as. There sure is a lot more to unpack here, but to be honest I don't really care about the situation anymore, the only thing I won't forget is the damage she caused to my friends back then and how unnecessary all of it was ultimately and that's why I'm even commenting on the matter, but that's all I will say about it.

In fact I only stumbled upon this video because it showed up in my recommended and brought back memories. I used to watch Peach very briefly around when I was first invited to Sco's discord server and when I found out about the drama, it all made sense and I moved away from that sort of stuff. I'm just glad to see at least some sort of coverage on an otherwise forgotten page in the artist creator history. I don't follow this sort of stuff anymore (I haven't even watched this video) so I can't really say if the artist drama scene has gotten any better, but I surely don't want to be a part of it any time soon. I already have enough going on and I doubt anything will happen to Peaches or her goons.

As a black person, I would love to address their critique on giving black people big lips in art..black people tend to have big or "full" lips. Why would she treat minor snafus the same as major crimes?), but dismissed them because hey! This was my friend Shannon, who has had bad things happen to her a lot! i've had the same experience. i've had this video on my 'to watch' list since it came out, but only got around to it now, over 9 months later. i feel so goddamn stupid to have believed in this person so wholeheartedly. i remember exchanging comments with her, being ecstatic when she hearted one. i hadnt even realised it but my art has been so influenced by hers - the big eyelashes and shaded lips are something i draw a lot when doodling, even after all this time. while i unsubscribed from her channel very soon after reading and listening to Emily's story, i've just been unable to face what really, really felt like a betrayal

I really love that Emily acknowledges that she was a toxic person and that many decisions she made weren’t good and that she wasn’t perfect. It makes it seem more genuine and real compared to how Shannon always portrays herself as the perfect victim that could do no harm.
I think my proudest thing was unsubscribing to her around a year before her downfall because she was starting to feel iffy. Like, there’s only so many times you can listen to her ramble without a script and hear her odd little slip ups before it gets uncomfortable. The self depreciation was getting to be too much.
The times I tried to listen to her content, I found myself having to fast forward a lot because of her digressing rants about herself; what a fierce friend she is, how much she hates child predators, she used to be homeless, blablahblah, I was like "WE GET IT, you've been on this rant a dozen times!" because it wasn't just a mention, it would almost always be a whole tangent. If the topic could be made about her in some fashion, she'd make it about her and go OFF. 😩 Then I'd forget what exactly it was that annoyed me so much about it as I'd spend a long time not watching her, and then some specific topic would bring me back to her channel... I'd be quickly reminded, "Oh yeah... this is why I didn't subscribe to her" 😅
Same!! I unsubscribed from her channel a few months before the "drama" officially went down. Towards the end of when I unsubscribed, she was still a well liked figure in the commentary genre but something about her aura changed for the worst. She was much more angrier and annoying, like, she would nitpick at the most useless detail everyone else would overlook because it's just not very appropriate to.
no feels bad cause i was watching her for maybe 3-4 months and had never actually subbed tho. i started seeing this drama and it just felt awful that i had been watching someone basically do the opposite of what they preached. immediately stopped watching and the situation just got worse and worse and worse and worse.

I typed this for another video and another comment, but I stand by it. Currently drafting a message for a few channels to check into it. Not to ruin anyones life, but to just verify. Im pretty sure that after shannon realized she couldnt come back, that she paid youtube advertising for a channel for anthony called dreading. Its a true crime channel and the voice sounds so much like anthony. And when i commented that on the first few videos when the channel came out, some chick who i think was Shannon wrote on my comment that it sounds nothing like anthony. I dont have the resources to figure it out, if its really him or not. But shannon said herself that she was making 20k a month and thats not a hard reach to pay for the advertising to get a channel to grow quickly so that they dont have a loss of income that extensive. I obviously cant say for sure that its anthony, but it is a feeling i cant shake and dont know who can even help me with this.
one thing i don’t see many people mad over is the jaclyn hill thing-holding something someone had no control of over their head is disgusting. she didn’t fucking choose her dad, but she could choose whether to support him or not, and she chose NOT.

I’m not a fan of Jaclyn Hill (I don’t know anything about her besides the fact she does makeup & is anti-vax lol) but hearing Creep Show talk about her and her dad like that was so vicious. It just felt so personal and totally unprovoked. Toxic all-around. No hate to anyone who watched her before all this (I’m sure most of them were teenagers) but I don’t understand how anyone could consume that content and actually enjoy it. I don’t even particularly think her art is that good 😅
I don't think I've seen any other content creator be this calculated, manipulative and malicious as Shannon was and being able to keep all of it under wraps for years. How deranged do you have to be until you not only stalk someone for more than a decade, but to then take their stalking experience and use it as your own to use as a weapon if your victim were to come out against you?? I wouldn’t say Shannon was calculated. With hindsight, aspects of her personality showed through her videos, and rather uncontrolled as well. I don’t want to blame her audience but we were kind of at fault for letting a person like her gain a following and platform to spew misinformation and harmful rhetorics. To say that she is calculated is a stretch, yes, but she used the audience’s unwillingness to search for more information and to be impartial to her advantage.
Everyone loves to hear about a hero who overcomes hardships and defeats a monster. But what happens if there is no monster to slay? Well, you take the Shannon route, and play the monster and hero at the same time. It works until someone sees the strings.

Her husband, Anthony, constantly belittle and compared her to Emily (who was his ex from decades ago and soooooo much better than her). Then he got her into his stalking habit and they both enjoyed watching Emily freak out. It never stopped since. They both got issues and misery loves company, so they got married and fuel that mutual toxicity together like it's their unholy baby.

Just finished the video (I’d commented on it way before I was even mentioned).. Thank you for addressing both sides of the situation during my “incident” with Shannon. I tried to like her content long before I said a word, and when I finally did speak, there was so much built up anger in me towards her that I went off immaturely. That’s why I ended up deleting my apology video. In the end, I didn’t feel the need for her to bring up “antivax” past information when both my children and myself are vaccinated and boosterd. A few other stand of her brought up other information I felt wasn’t necessary and things I’d addressed a long time ago. It was a spiteful way of punishing someone “calling her out”, and no, I’d never speak to her enemies to trigger her. The situation was immature and I’m surprised it made such a presence in this video, but after reviewing it I do understand the points you’ve made. As always, thank you for being thorough and in depth with your content, I’m grateful for your work and glad she’s been exposed.

I'm surprised there was no mention of the audio clip of someone defending Shannon, who is named Odessa Franklin Boutwell and DEFINITELY WASN'T Shannon deepening her voice and putting on a fake and ridiculous accent for the first few minutes of the recording, before slipping and sounding exactly like Shannon (except sporadically throughout the rest of the video, as if she was cyclically forgetting and remembering that she had an accent). EDIT: Apparently this person has posted more than one episode of her podcast, aptly titled "Odessa Franklin Boutwell," and despite being tagged as a "Christian" and "Religious/Spiritual" podcast, all episodes are dedicated specifically to defending Shannon. And how could I forget, she opens episode one by making it VERY CLEAR she is not Shannon. She justifies this by saying that she's been called out for being Shannon before, but... where? People have looked her up extensively, and she has no social media presence, and pretty much just isn't anywhere on the internet. Exactly where is she supposed to have been called out? Seems like Shannonigans to me.

One thing that I can't wrap my head around is that Shannon said that she couldn't take the situation with 'Amy' to the police because she had deleted ALL of the emails and correspondence between each other, only to show a bunch of emails as 'proof' that she existed... that somehow existed despite her claiming to have deleted them? Surely she was aware that was a hole in her case when she was making it??
The kicker with all that, for me, was that Shannon faked the emails. If “Amy” is a fake name for her “stalker” it’s pretty peculiar that Amy signs her emails with her fake name when writing to Shannon 😂 it’s almost like Amy was fake the whole time

Just to add some clarity to the drag race drama: The drag race fandom has a racism issue. Many of the queens of colour who make it far in the show end up with terribly racist comments from the fandom, and Jakeyonce was fanning the flames by sharing with these already racist fans a bunch of misinformation about these queens of colour. Many of the queens who spoke out against him are queens of colour for this very reason.

TRO's built an empire based around being "second monitor" content. The kinda stuff you want to look at occasionally, but you don't need to because everything you'd "need" to look at he reads to you. And, best of all, all of his videos are the same volume! So you can set your volume and not worry about sudden loud noises if you take a nap or something.

Just a quick comment before continuing to watch the video; re: Shannon's video about Jameela Jamil. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, EDS for short as TRO uses it here. I was born with it, it's a rare genetic disorder and it's passed down through generations. Because of how rare it is (and rendered even rarer by the failure rate to diagnose it in people before late in life, or not at all - my example being that I was diagnosed at 23 in 2021 despite being legally disabled since 2011 though we didn't know what was causing my disability yet), and how this rarity means there's a bunch of doctors who I, the PATIENT, had to explain to them what it was before they could treat me, there's a lot of misinformation and stigma around it. One of the biggest is that by its very nature, EDS is a disease that affects your whole body and thus creates a mountain of issues, disorders, illnesses, weaknesses and more that seem completely unrelated and hinder even more the diagnosis process as well as treatment. EDS is incurable and for life, and people who suffer from EDS often develop chronic illnesses and chronic pain. For a brief overview, here are a bunch of examples of things I've suffered from my entire life, without knowing that every single one of them was caused by EDS: breaking every major joint/bone in my body, sprains repeatedly, tendons and ligaments ripping in half, being allergic to more than 40 different allergens including the sun, having a tooth in my nose, having two different eye conditions on each eye (near-sighted on one side, far-sighted on the other), dislocating my joints in my sleep, my fingers not being able to grasp, bleeding from my nose every two days, having no depth perception or balance, leading to more injuries, not tolerating clothing tags or seams too thick to the point I had to get special clothes, and so much more What Shannon did with her bullshit video and zero amount of research is add more stigma on a misunderstood, underdiagnosed disorder that brings immesurable pain and suffering to the people unlucky enough to be born with it. If you're a content creator, seasoned or brand new, or are thinking of becoming one, and you want to go into commentary? Do your fucking research. You have no idea how much impact a terribly researched video can have on the world and people watching you. I used to be a fan of Creepshowart before this all went down, and I had missed her video on Jameela, but this is unacceptable. The world is ableist enough as it it and my life is painful enough without misinformation going around on top of that. If you're interested in people with EDS whose content doesn't revolve around it but who have both made videos talking about their experience, check out Stevie Bobie and Jessica Kellgren-Fozard. I've also talked about it a bunch on my channel.

It really is so poorly understood. You seem like you have a lot of noticeable symptoms. My sibling does as well. I am decently well-functioning and often get called a liar, lazy, over dramatic etc for getting severely injured or fatigued easily. My sibling, as I mentioned, has very noticeable symptoms and despite this, has been called a hypochondriac by doctors and many have told them it’s probably just in their head (they eventually saw a competent specialist and now have a diagnosis). Same age as you, actually, and I thought you might’ve been them at first, but you have some different symptoms. Best of luck
Thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this! As someone who also has EDS (causing MCAS, POTS, Gastroparesis and more), has been hospitalized countless times, has nearly died and who _still_ runs into doctors and nurses with no knowledge of my disorder who put me in even more danger: the misinformation is _so_ frustrating. So many of us had to fight for years to even receive the correct diagnosis, and way too many of us were first referred for mental health treatment because we weren't believed (I was a child when my pediatrician suggested I was making it up and needed Psych help), so Creepshow's misinformation riddled critique of Jameela hits super close to home. Chronic pain and illness is hard enough to live with but the constant having to explain to people that you really are sick even if they can't always see it is very isolating.
shes so insecure in her relationship though that she gets off on them hurting Emily together because it "proves" over and over that he's picking CSA over Emily. everytime Shannon gets insecure or Anthony does something to make her insecure, they probably harassed Emily to make Shannon feel better/more secure in her marriage
I haven't had that level but had to completely block a person out of my life after "soft blocking" and asking for space. She tried to squeeze info about me out of our mutual friend and talked shit on me to them along with threatening to stand in the woods right off the property of my bfs dad's house to watch us since she was not allowed on the actual property. She also tried to blame my spouse for me needing space and constantly talking shit on them and tried to get us to break up (he was the reason but bc he made me value myself and my own mental health, not because of his own personal problems with this person). It only got worse after I went to her grandparents wake out of respect and she acted like everything was okay after and wouldn't respect I still needed the space. After 1-2 years of harassment after 15 years of a toxic friendship I'm finally complete no contact with her. I know she has her problems and hope she can get better so we can have a healthy relationship one day.
I've soft blocked my own stepmother because I get enough of her snide remarks in real life - I don't need her commenting her vile jabs online either. If she ever figures out I'm the one who did that though, I can only imagine the shit storm

@@WhitneyDahlin People do it b/c it’s a way for people to feel self-assured about their own righteousness. That murderer in your example might feel a lot better if they just convince themselves that anyone in their position would do it too, or that the person next to them is secretly a murderer as well. If you can convince yourself that other people share your bad intentions or tendencies, you can tell yourself that you’re not that bad in comparison. For example, let's say I'm someone who absolutely hates dogs. Naturally, I assume that there are a lot more people around me who hate dogs as well but are silent about it. Because of this assumption, I also assume people who say they love dogs are just being performative about it, because I can't imagine how someone could genuinely hold that opinion. So I can tell myself something along the lines of “well, at least I’m honest about the fact that I hate dogs, unlike everyone else who just pretends to like them.” Shannon is a compulsive liar and probably assumes the people she opposes are as well, because she can't imagine being totally honest. She feels comfortable calling other people out for it because she genuinely believes it. To admit to herself that the other people involved in the drama don't have those same character flaws would also be to admit that she's in the wrong, so she protects her ego by convincing herself that they're all just as horrible as she is. It’s a defense mechanism.
Uncomfortable, but as much as I hate playing Devil's Advocate, Hill's father was *allEgEdly* a shady businessman. I remember watching that video during the Jaclyn Hill Arc on RU-vid and one of the argued points was Jaclyn learned to scam millions from her father, and that Jaclyn lied about her childhood amongst other things. It's really neither here nor there now but I do remember that much of it.
Oh absolutely it was very...weird. Unhinged, even. It was a "funny bit" that she started doing in her videos before that point whenever she was dunking on an alleged creep. It was always on the weird side but she cranked it up even further for that video.

Connecting someone to an estranged parent and twisting the knife in the wound about their passing and broken relationship is really messed up regardless.

You’re on point! I guess it’s because this type of content on RU-vid is mostly done by teenagers, so that was the environment she was in. People usually in the drawing + commentary scene can’t really draw. The professional artists’ community on RU-vid either teach people or are all about going through their process other than commenting on random things and people.

Creepshow's thing about Jaclyn Hill's father isn't even correct reading of the screen. The part of his profile where "God" is listed is where your EMPLOYER or school goes. He clearly has his title of "Minister" under his name (although iirc that's the headline feature which can say anything). So he never called himself God (at least in his LinkedIn profile) to begin with lmao

I’ve had the same issue with allergies, I was born allergic to peanuts and treenuts, became allergic to eggs and milk when I was 21, and eventually outgrew the milk and egg allergies. It’s not uncommon for people to get and lose allergies.
I agree, allergies, sensitivities, and intolerances can change, especially if your gut health is butchered at some point. My brother was born with a peanut, banana, pineapple, and wheat allergy, he also was intolerant to dairy, and struggled greatly with red dye 40 and caramel color. Now, 20 years later, he’s grown out of the dairy and dye intolerances, and the banana and pineapple allergy. He still has an anaphylactic allergy to peanuts, and it turns out he has Celiacs disease (( as do our mom and myself )) which is what wrecked his gut and made it impossible for him to digest what was previously thought to be allergies, until his gut healed.
When I was in my early 20s, I started to have allergic reactions to gluten & dairy proteins. Grew out of those after eisinophilic esophagiitis & gastritis were addressed, but now I'm just lactose intolerant. IDK if it's related to my pancreatic enzyme amylase getting messed up & impairing my digestion, buuuut... Boy, am I def sick of hearing how I made it up. Lol. Not a VPN ad. You could replace every instance of the service name with "https" and nearly every talking point is still valid. The use of a VPN is very niche and not helpful for the things that companies claim they are, which is also why they're in so much hot water about false advertising.
I had been a passive fan of CreepShow Art, but when I watched the video about Jameela Jamil, it made me sick. As someone suffering with several invisible disabilities and chronic illnesses, it just hurt to see someone so popular perpetuate such harm against disabled and chronically ill people. It made me even more mad bc in the video, she was drawing a character from a web series I CREATED lmfao. It was just very unsettling.

I followed her for a bit and at first she seemed like just another commentary channel but then she became more and more just aggressive and ad hominem. I couldn't even listen to it. I unsubscribed then wasn't surprised when a few months later the lolcow forums released the info calling her behavior out.
Creep's biggest problem is the LOLCow posts, until she can explain those or admit them or acknoledge they even EXIST. Also while she pushes the narrative that "Emily is an Addict/Drug User and cannot be trusted" she also pushes "Anthony is so truthful he's George Washington...despite ALSO being a drug addict" So which is it Shannon? If Drug Users cannot be trusted, then that should be applied to BOTH? (Of course not!)
Worse than that, she does the whole "she's an addict, you can't trust her" while relying entirely on Emily's word for a timeline of events (that she still got wrong). Like, OK, if we can't trust Emily and she's a liar, how is her word compelling evidence?
@@CJMGalaxy I believe Creep was counting on her old MO, if she is 'angry and emotional' about what she is talking about her fans would follow suit also being angry at Emily... This ONLY WORKED when her credibility was good, the second that was shot to hell people are going to side eye her statements, and then a re-eval of ALL her other statements and realizing she's ALWAYS did this the contradictions were there fans just trusted her enough to overlook them.
See the problem is if she admits to the lolcow posts she destroys all of her credibility because she mentions Emily in them. Yet in her video later she tried the angle of having no clue who Emily even was and not remembering her at all and having to search her up and look at old pictures to even remember her. How come she doesn't even know a person yet bashes them on an online forum?
I was just going to comment that I was surprised more people don't point this out. But then, the lesser known profile of those names just makes it more likely that they're Shannon's sock accounts.

Damn, just watched it. He just feels incredibly narcissistic throughout it, echoing that he made a mistake. Also, his content wasn't really boring. It's like you're dose of internet drama without too much bias; but it is a shame how bad his research was.
I ate grapes growing up, then three year ago I had several allergic reactions to them, and now I can eat grapes again. Food Allergies are weird they can go away soon as they pop up. My doctor said it's not uncommon to become allergic to something you normally eat only for a few years later go away.
I had this with boiled peanuts, I apparently ate them again a week after I had a severe allergic reaction to them when I was young. Haven't reacted again since the one random reaction
Allergies are weird, my mother has an autoimmune disorder that’s v rare and triggered by allergies, and because there’s no telling what she’ll be allergic to next she has to carry an epipen everywhere, she eats random foods and bam! Reaction, eats them again and it’s fine
As someone who had EDS type three and I cannot thank you enough for covering the Jameela Jamil disability issue. It is something we have to deal with CONSTANTLY and its soul destroying for someone to tell you that you're not disabled because they do see it. It's not really understood enough by Dr's sometimes never mind lay people with little to no knowledge of it as a gneentic condition.
I feel you, CRPS is quite the same, we are constantly accused of faking or exaggerating and it’s not a disability that is instantly visible to other people.

As another person with hyper mobility and other stuff similar to EDS, I was also happy when he talked about it. So many commentary channels seem to fall into disbelieving disabled people so it was nice seeing him mention that even as a quick aside.

(Not related to the Emily Artful situation, but related to Shannon) I used to be an avid viewer of Creepshow's but she really started to lose me when she started primarily uploading videos about predators. Not because they were videos on predators, but because the way she would talk about their crimes. She would list all these awful things they did, and wrap it all up with "which is illegal" or "which is a crime" but never "which is immoral and traumatizing and psychologically damaging." She would focus so much on SA or grooming being against the law, rather than how awful the actions were. Which I understand but like, victims aren't hurt by SA because it's illegal, they're hurt by SA because it's SA. Maybe I'm looking too deep into something shallow but it always rubs me the wrong way when a callout post or video puts all the emphasis on something being a crime rather than something being harmful. It feels very fake, like they can't actually empathize with the victim and the only way they can recognize if something is wrong is if it's against the law, which in turn makes me think they only talk about these issues because they want to be seen and praised as good person without actually behaving or thinking like a good person. A good example of it would be when she would constantly bring up (borderline jerking herself off) how she reported Dahvie Vanity to the FBI when quite literally everybody (probably including the FBI as well) was aware of what he did to young girls. And the real kicker is, it's not difficult to report somebody, you can do it on the FBI's website, and the report went pretty much nowhere. He's not in prison, he's still on social media, and he's likely still victimizing young girls, but it's like she was physically unable to stop bragging about it and acting like she did more work than actual law enforcement. She really didn't seem to give a shit about his victims, it seemed more like she saw it as something to brag about, a higher horse to ride than everybody else's.
I noticed that too. Even with her drama content, it focused on the "gotcha" as if she got points for it rather than addressing how it affected anyone else. The way everything she did was for superiority just became more and more obvious, until the lolcow stuff revealed just how little she actually cared.
TW: SA No, I agree with this, you're not reading into it. Many definitions globally of R (SA, but don't want to trigger YT's censors) preclude anything other than p in v SA. So in terms of the law, is a lesser offense. Which anyone who has ever been SA'd will know is ridiculous. Using digits/ objects/ penetrating anything other than the v (or not penetrating at all), doesn't make it less valid, or less traumatising and horrible.
But isn’t it a crime BECAUSE of the damage it does to people? By stressing that it is a crime, you would automatically implicitly also be stressing the reasons why, no? Not trying to defend Shannon in particular, I just don’t think it’s that deep myself. Let me know your thoughts!
@@stan8479 Respectfully, no. Not in my opinion. I see what you're getting at. But emphasising the illegality of something doesn't emphasise the immorality of it necessarily. I can say it's illegal to steal bread to feed your family, but not everyone would agree that's immoral. 🤷♀️ Laws are definitely there to attempt to protect society from immorality/ damage, but in most SA cases specifically they do not function adequately. It's the most underreported crime and of the cases that make it to court, actual conviction rates are abysmal. Brock Turner was literally caught red handed and got a few months. And his is by far not the only case where the illegality of the situation and the consequent application of the law feels like an actual joke to many SA survivors. What's the point of going through the police/ courts if the perpetrator, caught dead to rights, doesn't meet anything that feels close to justice. I say feels, because the law is designed to be objective.
Wow, Emily's story is so much, it could actually be serialized and I wouldn't think of it as real. But all of the information corroborating moment after moment... It's extremely tragic.
1:08:04 Creepshow called Omnia an "angry black woman" to Peaches' "uwu white victim" because its a stereotype for black women being aggressive\angry. She wanted to frame Peaches as if she was making Omnia seem "insane." Creepshow technically was 'tokenizing' Omnia & Kai's race for "I'm right, you're wrong and technically racist" points. It was a sarcastic jab to Peaches.
Yeah it's a jab at Peaches, but I agree with the point in the vid that Shannon saying that made herself look bad since all Peaches was doing is disagreeing with her over Twitter crap. Especially since literally no one else saw it as racist except for Shannon. She was once again grasping at straws and failed miserably.
@A D this ^ i think although it's important to note that she was being sarcastic with the way she framed the comment, it feels like it's much more worthwhile to focus on the way she jumped at creating some sort of bigotry narrative to make peaches seem more morally reprehensible in the first place than HOW she did it.

Shannon was my first experience of actually liking a creator, starting to see the flaws in their process and then watching them quickly descend into villainy. And my god, what an example. I’ve never before been witness to such self-immolation.

When I watched Shannon I pretended her art was good but her stuff is akin to the doodles in a middle school anime fans notebook. Not bad, but not something that seems very high effort
