If they continue turbo buffing adc like that then by the next Worlds the meta will be: 4 adc + Nautilus vs. 4 adc + Leona. And even then Phreak will continue gaslighting people (and himself) that "this season is bad for adc".

the best cure for cancer that is ADCs is to make Assassin actually good again. ADCs are better assassins than assassins half the time once youre in the mid-late game, its disgusting. But if assassins can actually be the anti-adc class then itd help balance out the stupidity that is ADC meta taking over every lane.

Interesting how every time tank meta comes back, literally noone is happy about it and on hit adc's come back with insane win/pick rates, yet Riot does NOTHING to balance things out, despite the call out from everyone, even people that do streaming League as a full time job, not just regular players. Tbh, it is disgusting seeing these picks on top lane; I remember times where the weirdest/out of lane pick that you were going to see was Gragas/Shaco or something similar top. Nowadays it is fucking ADCity all over again (s6 vibes) except there is literally no counterplay to this playstyle. At most if you're lucky you're getting carried by a Kaisa, Kog, Trist etc. Yeah you won, but at what fucking cost?

S12-14, tenacity keeps on getting nerfed, damage keeps on getting powercrept, bruiser items keep on getting weaker and marksmen items keep on getting buffed, rlly fun and engaging😂

Every fucking meta is about ADC, balance team cried that the ghost was broken, but now EVERY ADC has 450 movement speed with 2 items, so where is the nerf? only for melee champions

Its literally just the Marksmen playing the game. The rest who decided to not pick a Marksmen are mainly just fillers, because the game requires 5 players on each team.

Hashinshin explained perfectly why ADCs are so good in solo lanes vs melees. They can poke you from safety and probably have some sort of dash. And every time you decide to stop chasing, they get free damage. And the biggest problem is that they can poke you while also completely denying any farm since they have 500 range (or whatever) in two directions. Melee lane bullies can't deny you xp while also farming. Because they have to walk back to farm every time they try to bully you. ADCs don't. Mages aren't as abusive in the same way because they need to use mana and can actually run out of resources. But they're still really annoying.

Jinx and kaisa weren't selling enough skins so now we're stuck with this ADCity meta garbage.

yeah so the game is intended to be played by adcs right clicking whatever their tanks hard cc so unless ur on one of these 2 categories u are forbidden of existing. it's not even about aatrox anymore it's about bruisers being the absolute worst rn

When i destroy the Top Lane.... mostlty my Team fails and we lose. When i lose my top lane mostly the game is a win. Insane, but thats how it is.

Whenever I say that all games if not snowballed are completely decided by who has the best adc. I get called crazy and that adc's are trash, that that only happens on my plat matches where you can get to min 30 so adc have full build. He is fucking challenger and this is a regular, adc's are not bad, they just don't one shot in early (lets ignore trist and corky); in all games the team with better adc wins, period. I played and play adc as second/third main role since I started, I never felt this role was bad at any point, just unfunny to have the entire enemy team diving you at level 4 to 8. Adc mains have gaslighted everyone and riot into believing that they are the worst role, when the only problem is that they are the worst players and have to deal with being dependent for like 20 mins.

The problem with aatrox is that the lethality build does damage but you are too skishy meanwhile the bruiser build i feel it does no damage unlees you are hyper feed. I think one solution is to include % enemy max health damage on Q and it increases with max health that is if riot wants people to go bruiser on him.

top lane is only good in low elo games, but when every player in the lobby is good, the role itself becomes irrelevant lmao

I do not like champions having a clear role designed into them and the playerbase going "nah, imma do it my way". also that whole bit about people that enjoy being "QUIRKY AND OUT OF THE BOX XD" is PRECISELY why i think Bauss (imma slap Drututt here for good measure since it also applies to him) is bad for the game. Bauss as a person? love the guy, chill as fuck and his streams are 100% comfy. Bauss as a player? i. fucking. despise. him. He ruins the balance for the game and for everyone who enjoys playing whatever champion he decides to try his "unique playstyle" for that week until he moves on to ruining yet another champion. AP Irelia shouldn't even have ever existed and you know it. The very fact it DOES exist and it ruined the game for a good chunk of weeks because someone watched Bauss SOMEHOW pull it off and decided he could do that is proof enough that Bauss(as a player) and his simps are a cancer on this community.

I like playing singed but playing it normally, like laning without proxying and stuff... then its more like Darius if you really look at it, you just ghost and run down the laner with stat checking

imagine riot decides that the 2 waves after one of the top laners reach lvl 7 are not coming out and they are free to roam and the "3rd wave" has double xp. adcs will rush top then haha

fiora and camille are both lane bullies but they scale way to well without effort darius is a lane bully but his scaling is not good unless you play into him

As and adc main, this current meta sucks. I like playing my role, but I don't want everyone being canaled into it. If the opposite were the case and everyone had to play bruisers or mages in bot, I would be PISSED

I still rather play against warwick or singe over ranged top personally. Yes they are annoying, but I feel I have a better chance at killing them over someone who pokes me to below half from range and i cant counter play at all.

not only toplane mid too jungle is only still good cuz they can at least camp botlane but currently the only lane really having fun and playng the game is botlane 90% of the times

The irony of the people who complain about tank meta, is that tanks are oddly enough the only thing that can deal with ADCs, so really its an ADC meta. I'm not one to complain, as i love playing tanks and defensive playstyles in various games, but to me its very clear that its not about how strong the tank is, its about the ADC; either kill the enemy ADC or die trying to defend your ADC

Personally i really like off meta picks (except of rangers, keep that shit on your own lane) I always tried to find something fun to play like full ap seju top or aatrox support, its my favorite thing about league that if you try enough you can pretty much play whatever you want, it might not be good but at least its fun

I really think this is a consequence of the no influence from top tp update but it becomes more powerful and now that they made it useless again like riot does every few years it feels doomed because we have less things to do against this play stile although maybe it is too much of an adc meta seeing how unplayable mid is right now.

I really think toplane is only relevant if you pick something that is really good late game. Like Smolder, Kayle, Mundo.

With the loss of lethal tempo and ADC items just giving you big numbers the role is HEAVILY less skilled than before, almost every build is the same, every marksman feels similar and to kill a tank you need a lot more dps, however you kill everyone else in 2 autos, a complete 180 turn on what the roles purpose is, and now with the early game that we have you can bring marksman to solo lanes and bully your opponent in lane Even I don't like the state of ADC even if it's when I'm most op, cause a lot of what made the role fun has been taken away

As a skarner player i feel like old skarner top was way more creative and new skarner top is better

To me top lane is not enjoyable,I enjoy playing bot or support because it's close to drake and many other reasons but it depends on what I think I lack on that lane,it depends on my own experience in the elo that I currently play,for example I was b2 and I played adc first because I felt like playing adc and second because in bronze ADCs aren't that good,now I'm s2 and I'm playing whatever DMG support I know how to play, I main at least 5 or 6 supports because those are the champs I know how to play and enjoy playing and I main 4 ADCs and I hope it's enough for ranked so it's a few mages and a few ADCs including senna and I was almost plat4 last season I just try to stick to basic knowledge and I try developing playing habits and I stick to champs I know how to play but I don't think I can just main one champ and get away with it and I don't think I can play them all at once or switch so quickly it also depends on what I feel like playing,sometimes it's sivir sometimes smolder sometimes aphelios or senna or ziggs,but I'm not the best at any of them or onetrick them it's all based on how I feel like playing them in certain combinations.Honestly sivir is the most fun and easy for me to play cuz of yun tal and ruunan currently and many other reasons but I like diversity I don't think top is bad but i don't like playing it because its a solo lane and I have little impact on the rest of the map and there is little chance to turn the game around if things go bad especially when u are behind,so if u can't take towers or put pressure on map u have little impact on the game and you are not so much team fight oriented unless you are tanky and have good cc and DMG and that is really demanding for champs that either lack range or mobility.

Who does Naayil usually ban? Fiora is a hard counter so why didn't he ban her?

thats a long message from me , cuz i think its an interesting topic , im a master player , ex midlaner , that played a lot of toplane , and enjoys some adc experience at the moment : I think you need a little break , sure ranged top are annoying to go against , and sure ap jnglers being very strong + some solo laners adcs being very strong too doesnt help the meta being fun for bruisers , but i personally think adcs on midlane is fine and i would argue way funnier that boring mages that litteraly pushed waves over and over and over until using 2 or 3 buttons in a tf to deal massive dmg or cc , champs like malz or lissandra will always be why i hate the most as an ex midlaner , nothing is more boring . And at least adcs needs skill to be played ( thats why its a high elo problem ) and so an adc that does one mispose , or one extra aa that was too much and its instantly over for them , and thats fine thats just the role , an adc , even omega super fed , will always be quite squichy , and shouldnt have too many ways to escape a melee , thats why tristana is broken . Also i disagree with the " toplane has no impact " at least in soloq if you are better its prob the best role to 1v9 , since toplaners are op champs and you would be ahead of exp and golds , and you can 1v2 1v3 depending on the champ , carry teamfights or split , and i would argue that in soloq adc is prob the worst role to play if you want to have impact , since botlane is 2v2 and the supports are supposed to dictate the lane ( at least the trades ) so if you get supp gap , you lost lane even if you are a better adc than ennemy adc ,you can also be jng gapped , and it hit harder than toplane since one good gank is 2 kills for them , not 1 , and the thing is that if you lost lane as adc cuz of your support or jng or both or even mid with roams , then you are useless until you farm enough to have items since you are a scaling , late game role . The good part is that at high elo with humans , adc role becomes easier , and people will play around you so you can carry better , while in toplane at high elo , you are kinda stuck in your mu , but even then , winning lane as a toplaner is huge deal , and i cant even remember how many games i lost cuz of topgap , this is unplayable , at least a fed adc you can outplay him and kill him if he overplays , a fed top can litteraly split and 1v3 , or go to a teamfight and tank everything while one shotting everyone . And btw i play all lanes , i love mid top and adc roles . But ye remember , you losing cuz the other side is too fed and you cant outcarry that is NOT a toplane problem , its a LOL problem ,a team game problem , adcs has the same problem , mid a bit less since they can impact other lanes . I still hope for a solution against ranged top without killing adcs as a whole , cuz it does feel super cringe as a bruiser to go against ranged player at high elo . But the whole " toplane has no impact " is bullshit , its very not true in soloq , its not even true with pros also , if you ever get frustrated playing toplane , keep in mind that at least , you are in a 1v1 lane and YOU being fed does depend on YOU , thats cool .
