reasons rr is dying 1. Really really REALLY FREAKING BUGGY RELEASE 2. Goku was just taken from ki battlegrounds (before u get mad ik the owner of rr is also the owner of ki) 3. Reworking some move sets JUST to keep hype 4. The first map of rr was a little bit similar to jjs Reasons rr is good 1. The game has unique characters 2. The domain clashing is good 3. speaking of domain clashing, you can do it with every character 4. The ps+ character is probably the most unique one ever Solutions? 1. They could have done a open test so people can help the devs and tell them about bugs 2. instead of releasing 2 early access characters and only focusing on 1 of them, work on both evenly 3. Stop reworking characters just to keep some hype 4. Don’t use assets from old games (NOTE) this is my opinion pls don’t get mad

Why rework now? Because people can't wait for a full release. Take too long, get bullied, release too soon, get bullied. This is just what happens. For testing, it's not that they didnt test, it's that with a smaller amount of players you get less lag and ping problems. They didn't have an outside the box thinking tester, which is fairly hard to come by.

Honestly ultimate battlegrounds just doesn’t have update if it actually had updates it would be actually active, as for realm rampage, it prolly got overhyped

12k aint dying, RR is still doing good and reaches its original player count on update day. Ultimate's problem ìs the dev going invis and not talking to anyone about the game, but even then, it still has 5k players regularly. That's more players with zero updates than Project Smash's biggest update brought in. Quit with all the doom and gloom, it's demotivating to everyone.

It's maybe because only having a set of characters from a single anime/manga makes it more limited requiring you to be more creative and have some fun ideas. The multi-anime battlegrounds genre is bad because it requires more effort to update or something like that. JJS is not dead because it has a limited character range which makes it so that there is a set focus on the game. Also im just yapping, maybe I'm right maybe I'm not 🤷

i can’t speak for ubg but idk what rr is expecting when they lie to the community, don’t update the game and don’t even communicate or make normal announcements when they are needed

as other people said billion times, rr was just hella overhyped to the point where 90% of the community would hate to see a single bad thing on release (bugs, same characters gameplay or other stuff). plus, as long as tsb and jjs exist other battlegrounds games will PROBABLY fail sooner or later (thats what i think at least cuz these 2 games are the "best" bg games in community's opinion. i hate tsb tho lol) also now that i think about it, people might just want to get gojo in rr (or other characters), but since devs dont add him or planning to add him later, community just be like "ok trash game i aint playing that". just my theory, but knowing 90% of the playerbase are kids under 14 this might play a role too so yeah, youtubers should just get some braincells instead of sayin stuff like "THIS GAME IS A JJS KILLER" on every single game that has a bit of parkour in it and we might be just fine

My friend said he joined realm rampage because of one piece, but he realized he will never see other one piece characters because other characters will come first, this also happens to a lot of people who are only fans of one anime that doesnt have a battlegrounds

Ultimately I think its a "specialization vs generalization" thing. People think that multi-ani games can get more popular because they appeal to more anime rather than one, but it's a little more complicated. In a multi-ani game, you can't really focus on adding a lot of characters for each anime, because most of them can't even complete the main cast of a single anime. So they usually only include the most popular/main character from each anime. So fans of each series can only engage with the one... or SOMETIMES two characters from their favorite anime. Whereas single-anime games have their entire catalogue filled with their favorite characters. Like, generally, multi-ani games only rlly ever add Gojo, Sukuna/Yuji. But *within* the JJK fanbase, there are more people who will like other characters like Choso, Kashimo, Nobara, Higuruma, which basically *never* get added in these kinds of games. So the reach it has on JJK enjoyers is there, but rlly shallow. Same thing for any anime.

It probably was because of the overglazing that RU-vidrs did, saying it was going to kill Jujustu shenanigans, and that raised people's expectations in which the game didn't meet, plus they said they were adding an elevator, and it's still not in the game.

The biggest problem I have with realm rampage, is that it has NO STUN after you block FRONTDASHES. Like theoretically you can punish your opponent, but the timing is soooo tiny to the point where punishing you enemy becomes almost impossible cuz they’ll either block or will start m1’ing you

i think the main issue stems from the owners themselves, and nothing necessarily bad abt them either as he went over, UBG (ultimate, not unlimited) died due to a lack of updates, and the bi weekly updates for rr may hurt it. you also cant blame the devs, they have their own lives to work on as well. most multi anime games suffer from that. UBG, UBG (both ultimate and unlimited), RR, Mania, and weakest. they all have a huge lack of updates and therefore quality control for most. but there is one huge thing that may skyrocket RR again: it IS NOT anime exclusive, it can have game characters too, but they havent added any yet, which is what i believe is why people said it was overhyped, the non anime/manga chars was a HUGE selling point for a lot of people, but hasnt been added yet. Mark my words, the day when RR adds multiple game chars will be the day it reaches its peak.

UBG is also one of my top favourites, it’s so amazing. And it still holds a good player-amount even with its lack of updates. Hopefully something happens soon

Skelle, the developers of ultimate battlegrounds are still working on the game, they are just working on a big update for some reason, and they aren’t posting progress because it was going slower than normal. Now, the update is confirmed to be this month. (check pinned message in general in their server)

(Sorry bad english) -Maybe because when they low hp they will brake the wall and fall of the map (Doesn't count as your kill) -Maybe easy for runner to parkour and run from you? -Maybe bad hitbox or bugs? -Ruined combo because of certain destroy blocks can stop your dash or bug that when you jump downslam it sent you so high and enemy 100% escape the combo
