Gotta say it...hearing that hollow thump under the garden shaft made me lil emotional, so many of us have been here from the first scoop...(and that swamp has something massive to reveal, can feel it in my bones)
Yes I was very skeptical but now after 10 years I really think there are Templer Treasures down there. At minimum they used this location for a depository. But this show will change North American history.
I dont care if you believe in the treasure stories or not, or even watch the show BUT you can not deny that something took place on that island of large scale. For what ever reason these guys are very close to finding it out.
When you look at the aerial view of Oak Island (at the very beginning of this video) which is literally at sea level and realize that a cavern/void was discovered at a depth of 235 feet deep beneath that island in the early-1970's with photographic evidence indicating that human activity occurred underneath the island in the very distant past, you cannot dismiss the fact that something significant was buried/concealed at Oak Island at some point in history. I just hope the team of geoscientists and archaeologists can figure it all out as to the history of Oak Island and vicinity and who originally was there..
Agreed. But I tend to think more than one thing took place there, hundreds of years apart. TV in typical fashion dribble out bits on the show. They know more than they tell us in time. They have suspending people down pat.
Agreed artifacts found from show me the civilizations over such a great period of time something went on exactly what we don't know I find the show interest in personally
I remember my grandmother and me reading the Reader's Digest story on the money pit. The dreams it created for me. So happy to feel the connection to the show.
I was addicted to this show for years and I really hope they find something but they’ve literally found not 1 single thing ever. Everything they find you’ll hear someone say, well this could be part of the treasure vault. Or this could be part of the ship that brought the treasure here. They’ve literally found nothing. It’s frustrating
I am hopeful, but it does remind me of ghost hunters. 7 seasons or something like that? bubkis... But I really HOPE, they find the treasure. I am 57. and my WHOLE life I have heard of the "Money Pit". It would be cool to see success..
What do you mean they have found nothing? They have a treasure trove of items they have unearthed of historical value. There will be a museum one day that house all of these artifacts. To say they have found "not one single thing ever" is to ignore the historical nature of the site.
there is no treasure who would sail halfway around the world to an insignificant little island and bury a fabulous treasure and bobby trap the tunnel and then sail away leaving it there for modern people to find, it's a preposterous story and all this talk about Templars and even stories of some sort of exotic people came to the island before Columbus discovered the Americas and hid there treasure and then just abandoned it, its all a preposterous lie !!!
@@marcatteberry1361I totally agree I hope they find something too. Good thing the show is paying for this. But if it’s a vault or depository what’s the chances somebody left anything down there? I my relatives had safes vaults etc. they made sure somebody got the valuables when they died.
There’s no doubt something was buried here in the 1600’s possibly 1500’s. This was a bank depository for multiple organizations. Knights Templar, possibly Spanish, Pirates. Whoever needed to hide valuables and could pay a percentage to whoever was in charge of it. But do you ever leave money, valuables etc, in your bank safe deposit box? I think this depository was probably emptied long ago. Unless they find an intact vault which at this point is unlikely.
Ok now that I’ve seen more shows it’s possible that there may be an intact vault, but it’s small and very deep. Also I have narrowed my scope down to the Templar’s at this time. If what they are finding is legit, which it seems to be, the history of North America is going to change drastically. My begin date is now 1300 AD. Christopher Columbus was informed by the Templers where North America was. The Vikings I believe informed the Templers where it was. But who knows ?
This show has made so much money over the years they’ll probably just buy a treasure horde from some private collector or museum and hide it at the bottom of the money pit for the last season 😂
The viewership has to be outstanding for this show to still be coming on, maybe just maybe Oak Island was a place people used for gold mining, that's what I'm gathering from watching this, it seems like all the pieces of wood are from old gold mines.
Since almost the beginning I've suspected the island used to be mined for copper ore. All the tunnels and shafts everywhere is proof. But that doesn't mean after the mining operations that ran hundreds of years finished that it wasn't used to bury something of historical importance.

@@craigthescott5074 Whatever it is that was buried/concealed at Oak Island was clearly never meant to be recovered. It is a (religious) tomb [i.e. an ossuary] contained within the alleged Chappel Vault that unfortunately fell into the depths when the Money Pit collapsed back in the 1800's.
Man1=we got something. Man2=we got something. Man3=we got something. Narrator=we got something. This formulaic repetition is maddening and I hate it so much. The whole crew working on this project should be ashamed of themselves. Pure garbage.
Been watching this show since 2013 found so many small things. At this point dont care if any real treasures are found. It be nice if they actual find underground tunnel.
Ya that’s why I don’t watch anymore. Dig dig dig, suspense suspense suspense, and then they get a button. There’s always some new clue to keep the show going, but never definitive answers or real treasure
How is it possible with all this modern state-of-the-art equipment and mining engineering expertise, they could spend literally years and find NOTHING, if there is anything to be found? There is in all probability nothing.
@@tobythompson199x A ton of stuff? Ok I guess the wooden timbers and mud + the trinkets could= a ton. But what they've found hardly justifies the expense. What justifies the expense is the amount of VIEWS.
@@tah2606 If they end up finding real treasure it will be taken from them depending on what they find. Example: if they find Spanish coins Spain will claim it and want it returned and same for everyone else.
Why in the world did my comment disappear on a freaking oak island post? This is so stupid. I'd appreciate it, if you tube is going to delete my comments, that they don't notify me when someone comments!
Would be sick if they did find an actual tunnel. I do believe there is something on that island whoever created all that wouldn’t just do it for nothing.
The biggest curse of oak island is that i keep getting suckered into thinking they might have actually found something, but its always the same old spin, same old guff, nothing here, as usual.
There is a reason those tunnels exist.....and whoever constructed them wanted something kept from being easily found. The history is deep on Oak Island....so many dif entities coming and going over quite a period of time. The hidden cache is and has been elusive, but I have always enjoyed the journey thru history!! The tenacity it takes to do this search is what it takes! Every tiny piece just adds to the overall completion of the puzzle. The finding of the treasure is gonna be epic!!
When you say no to someone and they get angry about it. That does not mean you should have said yes. Stay resolute and true to your decisions and words.
@@juliemcnicholmartin3105 the show is turning into a joke I actually went to nova scotia years ago on vacation and went to oak island. But now it's nothing but boring acting like a piece of wood or a rusty nail is a treasure the shows are the same thing every week
Some people don't have any patients, thankfully their smash and grab, instant gratification personalities are not involved in searching for the answers to such a great mystery of history.
Their treasure is all the cash they make from people watching this show! It might be more profitable not saying they found it and keep stringing everyone along! 😂 The way this show repeats its self is so frustrating to watch! Jumping from one theory to the next, getting over excited about finding their 1000th nail and of course finding their 5000th tunnel.
Been watching this show since day one actually went on vacation to nova scotia and visited oak island its a beautiful area of Canada. But anymore it's getting to drawn out and boring there is only so many times you can make a big deal out of a rusted old nail or hinge or a button or a tiny piece of pottery. I'm sure there will be another season and another and another and another. Omg
If there is a tunnel underneath the shaft, when removing the last cubicle meters of dirt, wouldn't the shaft start to "slip" (perhaps this is not the right word) downwards until it touches the bottom of the tunnel? What about the stability of the shaft's structure? Wouldn't it be affected by such a development?
The only treasure on that island, is the History channel making these scammers millions of dollars. Remember the fake sword...lol, That was it for me..
"They" said it was fake. I say that the jury is still out on that "ceremonial" Roman sword as "they" never pursued a second opinion on it from a reputable European expert who is knowledgeable on Roman antiquities. "They" were all bent out of shape when "JHP" went to the media publicly with that sword find.
@@craigthescott5074 From all indications, "whatever it is" was never meant to be recovered. It's not a "bank vault" per se. I still believe it is a tomb.
Its a very meticulous treasure hunt. They are going on whims and stories, & having to employ all kinds of precision drilling and mapping on top of damge done by previous searchers. I believe there is something there, but it has been booby trapped and activated by the previous searchers. It is more than likely trapped to a point of no return without the original recovery plans by the folks that put it there
The goal of The Fellowship has been to completely solve the Oak Island mystery and not to get rich by finding treasure. If the brothers et al are successful in solving all six (6) aspects of this age-old riddle, they will be world-famous and rich beyond their wildest dreams with book deals, media interviews, conferences, personal appearances, etc....
@timwade4397 I never said they shouldn't be spending it. I said they will be lucky to break even if they found a treasure but they never will. They have had enough time to dig to China but they keep it going for the tv show by finding a piece of wood here and there lol
That project manager Scott needs to get to work! Who does he think he is telling that man who’s working on the garden shaft that he needs to work faster. Scott does a great job of standing around with his hands in his pockets doing absolutely nothing
WTH with all you negative naysayers turn the channel watch something else leave us alone we enjoy the show I cannot stand people being on here just to complain
@@jeepdude7359 This CoOI Reality TV show premiered on History Channel on January 6, 2014. The eleventh season premiered on November 7, 2023. So it's 11 years so far. You might be thinking of Oak Island documentaries that aired several decades ago on History and also Discovery Channel.
So you could have built a sea wall and just go in from the bottom of the water in that lagoon and then just drill and break through the roof of the cavern and with the sea wall holding back the ocean like in drilling operations and have been through that 8 years ago. There's equipment that pumps out all the water and brings you straight to sea floor and work from that spot is a pressurized chamber. But that would require permits and permission where on your own land you can do what you want.
Yes, but unfortunately their treasure hunting licenses only permit them to search/excavate as far as the shoreline of Oak Island. The seabed of Mahone Bay and the adjacent islands are off limits... :(
They have to get permits for anything they do and most them, especially the ones involving the shoreline have very specific amounts of time they're good for.
@@Openhearted2024 King Arthur's sword? Ash is also a resin. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. So what dust? Gold? Diamonds? . If his body was taken to Avalon, it might have been burnt? His ashes turned to stone?
Could be! Remember that Mr. Dan Blankenship bored through bedrock in Borehole 10-X before discovering a cavern at a depth of 235 feet where photographic evidence showed that a significant operation had occurred deep beneath Oak Island in the very distant past.
If something was deposited long ago, wouldn't you think it was collected. They still haven't found the main entrance into the tunnel system. The flood tunnels are a genius misdirection.
It's a (religious) tomb [i.e. an ossuary contained within the alleged Chappel Vault]. Unfortunately, it fell into the depths when the Money Pit collapsed to the cavern(s) back in the 1800's. Yes, Oak Island was a major mining and marine engineering project accomplished by some peoples in the very distant past.
if i have millions of dollars to pour into heavy machinery then dig until i can't dig no more.... im bound to find something. even in my local Walmart parking lot.
