lost interest in this show when every episode they re-hash the knights templar story over and over and over again. then find a piece of wood and ZOMG...... on the next episode... that did it for me.

The ONLY SHAFT connected to this show is the one they keep giving the viewers.

We’ve spent $20 million trying to find $10 million, but what we’ve actually found is some mulch, a really old button and some old nails 👍🏻

How about offering a download able map so we can actually follow the search.

The treasures curse is that everyone who watches this show will never see the treasure found. 25 seasons later and they still keep finding mud and dirt.

It took me a while to understand that this show is actually a sitcom.

I strongly suggest that the team send their ceramic and glass findings to Corning Inc's glass and ceramic authorities and see what clues they might be able to reveal. The leather they found looked like one of my old wallets long since lost. How it ended up in the Money Pit is a great question.

I can't believe this farce is STILL going. To call it a wild goose chase is an insult to geese. This show makes Finding Bigfoot look like Masterpiece Theater.

This show is like a reoccurring bad dream. Where you try to run as fast as you can but don't get anywhere.

Years of test bore holes 🕳 I wish they’d get permission to just Strip Mine the area around the Money Pit. One big dig, screen it out and be done already. To me that seems like the most effective & efficient way to find whatever is down there.

There never was any treasure buried there. The French military had their men on this island at one time. It was most likely a stop over point for trappers and fur traders. There was some type of fortifications there to protect civilians from Indian factions when they went on the warpath.

The only curse is the one some witch laid on the History channel that made them stop producing quality history documentaries and start pumping out the lowest quality bullshite possible.

Our Nova Scotia native people help the Knights Templars burry it up in shelburne up in the Indian fields they are so far away from it they don’t realize

Really tired of the negative comments. This is a great & interesting show. If you dislike it so much, why are you wasting time commenting? Many of us find it historically fascinating, thus the high ratings.

I think an entire ship sank in that area and thats what they're finding, with the different levels and layers at approx feet apart. Call me crazy though ha :)

The thing i don't like about drilling is it destroys whatever you find. I would think digging with a back hoe or excavator would be smarter.

I don't care about treasure, to me this show is fun because of the historical aspect. If they found some wooden structures from the 1700s that is already exciting. If you're not a history enthusiast then I can see why you think it's boring, but for those of us who love history they could find nothing but old buttons and I would love it

The “Curse” is that you lose your life in search of this elusive mysterious treasure. Either literally or metaphorically. There is something there. But will it be worth finding once you gave your life finding it?

this always happens when you get greed before brains .. you don't have real thinker to over see the dig .. first you have to go back to before it was dug . levels of stone and wood . hidden writing ruin stone placed half way down .. get smart . they made it so anyone finding it would dig a given size shaft . and if they had dug it the way it was design the 3 rooms of treasure would have been forced up and out of the shaft by water pressure , but not under standing the design they let it set over night and the shafted started filling with water .. then years latter some fool got the dim idea to drill threw the bottom of the shaft and made holes in a sealed treasure box room size ,when they drilled threw the room they let the air out that was trapped in the room and the room filled with water . now you have a shell struck in the camber .. so what you guys do the same dam foolish thing . you drill all the way threw the floor of the room and the treasure falls out the bottom and rest below what is left of the room above .. now it rest most likely with in 10-15 ft below the room ..and you still have two more sealed rooms that's why they made the cover dams to let the water in fast so the rooms would blow out the barrel or shaft ,don't you guys under stand the design .. ? how do you get it . easy . you ask me .. it may cost you but you are just wasting time right now ...lol now that you have change the way it works there is a trick to getting the treasure room out .. you could still get the sealed two rooms ...if you knew how ...? i do house calls if the pay is good ...if you don't recover i don't get paid ... simple math .. we talk or we don't you call ..latter PS in fact the longer you wait the deeper the treasure will settle under the remains of the room so as you wait its sinking deeper ... it could be as much 25 ft below the room now ...as the treasure sinks the loose dirt will fill in over it ,that.. s the mud your digging up now .. don't drill any where else ..other then the main shaft .. ! 7% of any profit recovered .

how does one dig a tunnel underwater? especially 100+ feet below the ground water table ! any driller knows once you hit water the ground caves unless you use drilling mud....

Every show consists of 30 min of narrator hashing over the previous shows, 25 min of commercials and 5 min of finding nothing...ughhhhh

After the 6th season...I stopped watching. They dig a while & then talk about it for an hour, then dig, then talk, then dig, then talk, etc... Hope they find something

If various people find The Curse of Oak Island so boring and repetitive perhaps they should consider watching something else. I get so bored and irritated with the so~called Semi~intellectual who watch and then do nothing but complain! I love the show and the people I know who each watch the show love it. So don’t watch if all you want to do is complain about the show.

In considering this is from an early part of history Do the core samples at all indicate that there was some kind of weather event that caused this area to either be an actual tunnel shaft or the volcanic ash or dirt or something piled over where homes were and maybe these are partial home structures I mean there's a lot of unanswered simple questions

Square nails were used well beyond the 1700s. My parents house was built in 1854 and square nails were used.
