The CURSED Energizer Is Actually Good Now... BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - as a tower known for its supporting capabilities for basically the whole game's history, this recent change now makes it do lots of damage!

7:02 After testing, the sub needs to be submerged to get the +50% exp boost. If it’s unsubmerged, then you won’t get the buff.

Is it sufficient to submerge it at the end of a round? Because then you could just do that and get both.

I have seen people be amazed because a youtuber did the absolute bare minimum, then called them a "rising star". This is why so much youtube content just sucks, people have no standards and/or are too scared to speak up because anyone negative usually gets beaten down by 29 people at once for daring to speak up.

For damage purposes, towers that has a cone attack like airburst sub or sharapnel sniper does pretty good job if you set their targeting on close

I remember XQC doing a similar strat for a bloonarius fight where he would stack subs in the bottom right and spam glue on the map for range. People called him stupid then, but look at it now hahaha.

Seriously this is my biggest pet peeve in gaming. When shit just says "boosts damage" like fuck. Give me exact numbers because im gonna go find out on the wiki anyways. This is a problem in way more things then it should be. We're not stupid game devs. Stop being vague for simplicitys sake.

@@LucidEquinox what's even worse is when they don't even hint at what the upgrade does the obvious examples are the tier 5s, but i remember getting my shit rocked when checking tack sprayer on the wiki cause i thought it was a completely worthless upgrade >costs about the same as hotshots >hotshots doubles damage while tacksprayer only increases it by "33%" little did i know it also secretly increases pierce..and how should i have known??

Does a superbuffed energizer have potential given the sub paragon submerge buff? 🤔 That would be 35 base damage. With sub commander, is that 70 damage or does it only buff based on base damage?

@@majesticeagle6629 Yep. And as a result, it's usually not worth it, since you can compensate for the 7x base damage increase with damage buffs. But now since the *base damage* of the tower is so high, it might just be worth it.

@@majesticeagle6629 Yep. It's crazy how they crippled the Sub paragon before it even released. The ability takes *15* seconds to fire, during which it *can't* use it's main attack, does mediocre damage by itself, and the nuclear waste damage is RNG. The submerged passive is either not worth it compared to the unsubmerged paragon, or it's a straight up *nerf* to your towers, which is crazy. And despite its price, the paragon is not a huge damage dealer on the scale of the Doomship. There is almost no situation where you want to rush *this* paragon specifically.

Honestly they need to make it so that it does the cooldown reduction regardless of if its submerged or not. Then I think it would be good. Also this now means we need to see a max buff unsubmerged energizer.

Am I the only one thinking this buff is kinda useless? Like it totally beats the purpose of you getting a 500 sub. You get energizer for the xp and the cd, if you have it unsubmerged, you dont get those things?
