Using it all night It's great and working fine but when you work on it for a long time, while fixing some errors it's remove the existing features and codes and start a new one. Hope that they will fix the issue soon.

Realistically as a dev learn how to learn. Learn the fundamentals of app architecture ground up, then whichever tool comes it won’t matter. Home Depot has a million brands of drills. It’s just a tool. Use what you have to make something great.

AI products like this aren't really worth it. because all you'll get it "just the bare minimum" and you'll go around in circles prompting the AI and pulling your hair out to try and build some random feature that just won't work. getting your styles right is absolutely important in the day and age of AI - how things look is paramount. no real dev team would ever use something like this. on the other hand, if you're new to web development, this is a great tool for you to get a look into how projects are built. if you've got anything to add to it, be sure to fire me a comment or whatever

To be honest I think this might be a v0 killer but not cursor, the tool is currently quite ridged and building out a backend is not amazing, testing with a live database seems to be a challenge. Bolt + Cursor might be the new AI stack.

Could you do a video on how to make a contact form and also a way to connect this to a gmail account or a service that is free so that mail can be sent through a website.

Bolt is still VERRRY buggy, the second you build something more complex. Burned though 10M tokens in 3h, the majoriy was going back and forth as Bolt indroduced new bugs to previously fixed features... Will revsit in 2 months again.

How is every youtuber that was promoting cursor at the same time now all uploading "the new cursor v0 killer???" videos at the same time? I mean, get that bag but shouldnt there be some disclosures that this is being paid ? there's no way this is all a coincidence by everyone. Maybe it's just me.

Thank god it's open-source. You can copy paste the prompts and use it for free haha. This pseudo AI tools, making non-developers believe they can build apps with no coding knowledge.

It may be cool... but only time can tell. Already I see the major flaws most systems have today. They waste resources on stupid eye candy nobody needs. I don't need code typing animations. I need working code. Also I bet it has the same overload culture too many of the current system have. Why support >100 natural languages and >20 programming languages instead of supporting only a few but those in much more detail? I need only one human language and maybe 2-5 programming languages... am I just resistant against the common AI megalomania + stupidity. AI is not the holy grail... but it will be doom for many. Also Tube-Careers are at danger as the masses love to consume without care... so tomorrow we don't need tubers anymore... only seeders that give keywords... and the AI will put it into reasonable presentations.
