​@@Dremag_Gaming I mean they can do that without stopping Tour, because it's just a mobile game. Plus I just noticed since the BCP came out they started to release too much new content in Tour, to ending it as fast as possible.

If the game continues to keep going I think we would have probably seen all of these!!! 😢

The Mario Kart team is a different team altogether within Nintendo. And I’m sure they’ve been working on the next Mario Kart. Mario kart games take a lot of effort man.

Even though we got Yoshi’s Island as a track plus Dixie Kong and Funky Kong who are technically crossover characters. This argument really doesn’t hold a lot of weight.

@@quangamershyguyyz7166 Yoshi’s Island is a spin-off of Mario. Almost *all* of Yoshi’s Island’s characters appear in other Mario games. Yoshi shows up in pretty much every game after Super Mario World Kamek shows up in Galaxy 1 and more spin-offs than I can count Heck, Poochy even appears in Super Mario Odyssey. As for the Kongs, the DK franchise is also a Mario spinoff. Both Dixie and Funky appeared in previous Mario games. Dixie appears in Mario Superstar Baseball, Mario Super Sluggers and Mario Hoops 3-on-3 Funky appears in Mario Super Sluggers and Mario Kart Wii. Yoshi’s Island is not a crossover course. Funky, Dixie and Poochy are characters from the Mario universe. They are not guest characters. Hyrule Circuit, the Wuhu courses, Animal Crossing, Excitebike Arena, Mute City and Big Blue are crossover courses. They’re set in places located *outside* the Mario universe. Link, R.O.B, the Inklings, the Villagers, Isabelle and the Miis are characters from outside the Mario universe. Why the Miis are in Tour is something I can’t answer. Perhaps they’re Mario Kart mainstays now. So as you can see, this argument does in fact hold a lot of weight.

@@generalcrab0009 Even if Yoshi’s Island and the Kong’s are from the Mario universe they are still seen as their own series outside of Mario. Yoshi’s Island is a crossover course the same way Animal Crossing and Hyrule Circuit are. It even has a different item box roulette sound and finish line music like those other tracks. The Kong’s and Poochy are basically guest characters as they rarely ever appear in Mario games. They just became so popular to the Mario universe that they became mainstays. Besides, Link appeared in some Mario games and Donkey Kong Country 2, there’s a Mario excitebike game, and the miis are in several Mario games so they’re sort of from the Mario universe too. Meaning that Hyrule Circuit, Excitebike Arena, and the Wuhu tracks are also set inside the Mario universe. Also, the Miis being in Tour pretty much proves that the wuhu tracks could have been added there.

Yoshi’s Island has different finish music between its a reference to the course clear theme from the game. That’s it. Also, are you really using the different item box roulette sound as an excuse?? What about Waluigi Pinball then? That uses a different sound but it’s very clearly set in the Mario universe The only Mario games Link appears in are as references in the games that weren’t developed by Nintendo. Those don’t count. The Excitebike game you mentioned is a remake/adaptation and had all the normal Excitebike characters replaced with Mario characters. It doesn't count either because of that. The Wuhu courses aren’t set in the Mario universe and the Miis being in Tour doesn’t prove they could have been added. It just means the Miis are mainstays now. The Wuhu courses were never planned. Those were assets left over from when they built Tour off of MK7.

@@generalcrab0009 The DK and Yoshi series are still pArt of the overall Mario universe but they’re so separated from the main Mario games most of the time that the tracks and characters are basically crossovers on a smaller scale. The Miis still appear in other Mario games so the Wuhu courses could be part of the Mario universe. The Wuhu tracks were planned to be in tour so all the 3ds tracks would be in the game along with Dk Jungle and Music Park but like those, they were cut. We will have to continue to disagree on this.
