This is the only Chinese period drama I've seen where the kid actually acts like a kid. Others make them way too grown-up, stereotypically carefree, or just barely existent.
i am so grateful that this clip suddenly showed up on my recommendations 😁 finished watching this just last night. and i highly highly recommend it. 👌 it's short and sweet and straight to the point. there are only 18 episodes with 10 + minutes duration per episode, that's why it is so compact. i wished it was longer though :( it truly deserved the 36-episode format. nonetheless, i enjoyed it so much and will definitely re-watch this amazing mini series 😊🫶
im really glad i saw this clip and i decided to watch the drama finished it within a day because it's a short drama and i totally recommend it! i wish we can have more of them though 😔❤
@@stacygold1416 It's called "A Familiar Stranger". The daughter only has a small part in the story line, although from this clip you'd think it's a major part. The story line is more to do with switching bodies. And looking different. Compared to most Chinese Dramas I've seen, this is a really short one.
