I was having such a rough day at work. I'm an "essential worker" so I will admit there are days I am burned out dealing with patients and staff. Until I logged on here; I feel much better now!!! Sorry for the late reply, I crashed after I got off work last night, lol. Rather than individually thank everyone, I thought I would send one comment instead. I really did not expect any replies! I wrote this comment because like most of you, I love cute puppies and seeing them was a nice stress relief for me. Thank you so much for the kind words; it really brought a smile to my face reading your words! I do not consider myself essential, I use the term lightly because to me, I am just doing my job: I was a healthcare worker before this epidemic hit, and will continue to do so after it ends, because I love what I do. German Shepherds are my all time FAVORITE dog!!! My most favorites are the long hair GS. We had one, he loved us for 11 1/2 years!! He loved and protected his family. He was truly the BEST dog we ever had!! Miss you Sonic!!

German Shepard's is what makes an ex-soldier as myself, lose my very composure - and go "M'Awwwww....!" high pitched at that point... puppy, adult or elderly dog... doesn't matter, they melt my heart, make my day... and if I'm in a rotten mood, be it due to depression, anger, frustration, fear or anything else then they solve it all by mere existence on sight! Despite my fear of dogs, this breed makes me especially happy to be alive. They do work as anti-depressants in the best way, the only side effect is that you might lose your control for a while, because they are so easily charming and can disarm you within moments. :D Worth it however!
