There is a key difference between the "My lady" and "m'lady". One is a romantic knight, bound by honor and chivalry in a fantasy setting that, if i'm being honest, by today's standards would be considered overbearing and kind of creepy, but in the context of fairy tales is simply beautiful and says a lot about the type of character they are. The other is... uhhh.... "A nice guy."
