Had me doing the same thing. Animation makes me sad. But, I try to imagine that, each time she wakes up, she makes a little bit more progress towards a complete repair. If she fixes herself a little further each cycle, eventually she’ll reach a point where she can stay awake long enough to get back to normal.

Death Stranding SPOILERS: Heartman willingly puts himself into cardiac arrest repeatedly, and then revives himself using a chest-mounted custom defibrillator.
