if you give him a gentle tap/press behind his right knee with your knee you'll get him down easier in that situation, break his structure that his weight is on, especially if you pull him towards you a little bit he'll be forced to push down to the ground with that leg and when you break that leg structure he'll go down without you having to push much (if at all) with your shoulder thanks though man, very good video

One thing to note here: it's very important to make this drag one smooth motion, do not get caught struggling right after the arm drag, and if your opponent fights it off successfully, turn away slightly and the quickly rotate back and drag him HARD a second time to force the position - if you don't, you risk getting your leg grabbed and getting dumped. What I mean is this: after the grip and pull on the same-side arm, you see that the instructor steps in and his left leg ends up tight against the opponent's right leg. However, you also notice that the dragged arm is VERY close to the instructor's knee - if you do not IMMEDIATELY move around towards the back and drag him down to finish the takedown, there is a real possibility of the opponent getting a grip on the knee from the inside, even connecting his other hand as well, if he throws his right leg back and steps forward with the left he can do it even easier while turning into you and defending the takedown - if he can do this and then posture up while yanking on that leg, he can flip you over on your back, rotating his torso to face you on the way down - he can also use his right leg to trip the instructor's far leg while pulling up on the close (left) one, making the dump to the back even easier (or, posture up hard and step in to trip with the left leg while turning towards the instructor the whole time, same result). worst case, you end up on your back with the opponent in side control.

I used this exact same drag in highschool and until I was scouted on film by other teams it worked like a charm out of it I could go 3 ways, attack the hips, heel hook and trip or capture the near single leg, if your opponent comes to expect it from you, it is easily countered. Not knocking it and it is a good alternate to direct convential leg attacks.

But I have a very active imagination, and in my imagination I've fought against some very famous names in combat sports, The fights were pretty close too, and I've built a respectable record. Every time I shot for a takedown (in my imagination) my knees hurt real bad. But last time I tried this technique and managed to take down Don Frye, and was just about to submit him with a rear naked choke when my mom called me for lunch, so I stopped daydreaming, left the basement and went upstairs.

Thank you for the share but this is a normal Greco Roman wrestling move so it's not a Dagestani drag or a secret , I've been doing this move for more than 9 years Our style back home is the Bulgarian style of wrestling
