John Sweeny this week contradicted his committee on resources saying oil wasn't a major economical issue for Scotland. Step by step they have introduced furniture on the roads, where you used to get two vehicles at junctions now it's one unless it would really upset motorists. Humps galore, pedestrian crossings appearing out of no where. The roads throughout the towns, villages and cities are a national disgrace, haven't been sorted in years Now they're banning commercial vehicles from city centres, next it will be diesels.

There is a beautiful railway up the west coast of Scotland, too.
