Please allow me to add my two cents. I've been watching Tsering Kyi on VOA since I was a kid. However, today I felt that she speaks as if she is having a casual chat with a friend at home. I'm sure she can speak better Tibetan using sheza (ཞེ་ས་) and do her job in a more professional manner. Her platform is huge and has the potential to set a great example especially for people and kids living abroad who are not used to listening to or speaking Tibetan daily. Other news like VOT and RFA are doing a wonderful job, we get to learn how to speak Tibetan properly using sheza (ཞེ་ས་) without mixing it with English or Hindi. Tashi Delek.
First, you need to understand what professional journalism is. ཞེ་ས་ is a Tibetan term for an old-fashioned style. In journalism, everyone is treated equally; you need to ask the same questions and use the same words whether you're speaking to a president or a criminal. Change your attitude and open your mind. Don’t impose your narrow views on professionals.
Don’t use Chinese characters on Tibetan clothes. Chinese people often use these characters on coffin, corpse costume,Dog’s clothes and toilet door.
