Nico Harrison the real MVP. Showed a lot of patience and everytime he tried to trade for a Center they asked for Josh Green or Jaden Hardy. Had to go into the season playing Dwight Powell and Grant Williams to find the right opportunity. So much young talent on this team that still contributes. Hardy is going to blossom next year because of this experience and allow us to keep our guards fresher

The difference for Minnesota in this series is that Luka and Kyrie have seen coverages like this often. Both are score-first guards who can playmake. Jokic is a pass-first guy who can score at will. Murray is a scorer who's not as good of a playmaker. Nore, does he have a crafty handle like the two. So when they press/doubleteam him, he often rushed into shots or turned his back to the defense for long periods of time. Luka and Kyrie so far has played at their pace and haven't been sped up by the defense. It shows their skill and high IQ. Not that Murray isn't, but he's not on that level. Jokic for sure is.

Timberwolves need to sacrifice some offense for a heavy defender on Luka if they have one in the arsenal. Bench or G-League would even do. That is their only chance as its going to get worse on home court. It is very clear that OKC showed the only way to limit Luka is with a defender who is as strong and has the reach to disrupt his shot. The big difference here is Luka's conditioning is very very good. The Timberwolves coach is making a bad mistake with his assumption he will gas. He forgets he is a younger player who started the league at a young age. Based on what I have seen, if you don't have a defender who can stop Luka's body pushes to gain court control, he is going to get to the spot he wants and make the pass or shot with the highest percentage of success. Jason Kidd did this better than most PG in history and is the perfect mentor for Luka. If they are getting gassed out on defense at their home court, it will only be worse in Dallas where the home court advantage is in play

Why is 22-year-old Ant Man so exhausted? He walks up and down the floor with his hands on his hips. Does he need a week or two off? (He might.) He must have exhausted himself defeating Denver. He's not recharging, or, at least, not fully recharging. Maybe he will get a second wind sometime during this playoff series, but he'd better hurry. Granted, the games have been very close; the Mavs are lucky that Naz Reid missed that last-second dagger; it could have easily gone in, and things would look very different now. Back in Dallas, the Mavs should win, home court and all, but the Timberwolves will be playing with crazy drive and energy, and Luka is still not close to 100 percent physically. This new Mav lineup is a growing organism; its potential may be beyond J. Kidd's widest dreams; they're like Michael Jordan in high school, i.e., you ain't seen nothing yet, despite all the magic you've already seen. Kyrie needs to play every quarter like he did this time in the first quarter, if such a thing is possible, but if anyone has it in him, it's Kyrie Irving. He may not even be human. These boys are picking up full court and making the Wolves work and they are looking haggard. From this we can quickly identify that these Wolves aren't being pushed to anywhere near a competitive enough level during their practices. As much respect as he gets, I still think Luka is underrated. I'm a Celtics fan, but from Dallas. I would love to play Minn because a healthy Luka is the best player in basketball and those Gumby big men for Dallas are criminally underrated.
