I would agree but you have on has a fun lineup of people. He'll get a huge giant gas that nobody else gets or be the first one to get a big guess before they make the rounds and then he has on like a pest control guy or a police officer or a mortician. 😆😂🤣😭
Definitely a very eclectic lineup of guests. The latest guest, Meghan Trainor? I've heard the name, know she's some kind of famous pop singer, never would've expected to see someone like her on a show like Whiskey Ging. Although I'm not personally a fan of someone like her, having guests that are outside the typical comedy circles definitely help the show overall. Which is never a bad thing.
I just had a strange moment with this comment and I felt you needed to hear why. I listen to a lot of these podcasts while working but I just went outside and as I looked down I read your comment as he was saying it. Very strange and probably very pointless but still, I found it interesting. I hope your day is wonderful.
I can seriously say this was a flawless podcast. Thank you for making my Friday at work where I promise I’ll be stealing some items today, cleaning products etc 😂🙌🔥
I was working at a gas station when I decided to move out of state. One of my last duties was to count up ALL of the cigarette cartons and packs. I was butthurt and asked why I had to do something so boring. My manager made the mistake of saying "we don't actually know how many cartons we have." 😁
I used to work at my old high school as a janitor when I was in college. I would steal so much Toilet paper and trash bags I still have some to this day. Best job I ever had.
My workmate got sacked and management wouldn't say why. I told people that I had found out why- that she was sacked for stealing toilet paper. It was just a joke but too many people believe it that I can't change their minds now!
Hey check out him and Shane Gillis on KFC radio.. one of his best appearances. But you’ll find that it doesn’t matter what show he’s on, much like Santino, Sodies always delivers. I went down the rabbit hole when I first discovered him in 2020 and haven’t been let down since. Also his appearances on AYG, even the one through video chat is great. P.s what’s even cooler is when he talks about McDaniel, he’s talking about Mike McDaniel, former niner OC and current head coach for Miami. They grew up together #FTTB
47:28 when I was a young teen, I used to unload trucks at wal mart. After I couple of months everyone on my shift were pretty good friends and all roughly the same age. And turns out, all degenerates a little. We would figure out something one of us needed. For example, a vacuum comes to mind. So we would fill the vacuum box with tons of other stuff directly from the truck and then wait for it to get stocked on the shelf a few hours later, then we’d all chip in and buy the vacuum. Meet across the street and empty it out and divide it up. Keep stealing! Never surrender!
Detroiter here... you tape the octupus to your groin (octopus in a bag of course). Lots of tape. Then you use the bathroom and walk out with ocupus in a plastic bag. Little Caesars Arena, where the Red Wings play, is pretty strict about bringing in octopi. Go Wings!
Best quote of the pod.. "If you have a job or work for somebody, steal from them because they are stealing from you." It's the best thing about American capitalism 🤣🤣
This is my favorite podcast for audio only because you don't need the video to fully enjoy it.. I don't recall Santino ever saying "for those listening this is what's happening on screen.. BadFriends is my overall Favorite but Bobby talks quietly sometimes so while driving it's hard to hear him.. I drive for a living and no other podcast is as engaging as audio only as Whiskey Ginger. example: YMH so much happening on screen if you need the video version, H3 podcast most of it revolves around on-screen visuals but I love to Watch it, not listen.. 2bears is amazing but again a lot of on-screen action... PLEASE KEEP THIS PODCAST THE WAY IT IS SANTINO I LOVE YOU WITH EVERY BIT OF MY BHOLE
Soders so damn good. Love all the Denver/Aurora references 👌 Thinking Bobby’s actually been selling laptops was fkn hilarious 😂 Hope they get him on Bad Friends or TB
I worked for a Buffet when I was 17 as a cashier. I would hold the drawer almost closed so that it wouldn’t lock. When people would come up to the stand to pay I had all the common prices memorized, would just bash some numbers to make sounds and let the drawer open. I’d keep a mental note on how many extra dollars were in the drawer and remove it at the end of the night before the manager counted my drawer. Would frequently get 300-500 dollars a shift. A few weeks into doing it my Coke head boss came up and told me he used to have an employee at a different location he worked at that he would give the key to the drawer too, run the same scam and split the money at the end of the night. So I got more aggressive and the drawer would be close to 1000 or more over at the end of the night, I’d rip 500 off the top and split the other 500 with him. I used all of the money to throw absolute bangers at my parents house as they were out of town all weekend camping, every weekend. I’d buy tons of beer and countless bottles, a few ounces of weed, bunch of blunts, tons of cocaine, and have 40/50 people over every Friday and Saturday night. Best times of my life.
worked as a bartender at a high end marriot. if i knew the customer was paying with cash i wouldnt ring anything in till they were ready to go, id get a total but never save the ticket, tell em verbally the cost, get the cash, cancel the ticket before sending it, then pocket the money. made a couple grand easy in 6 months.
Former cashier. I used to put a packet of kool-aid over the bar code of cartons of cigarettes. Like, dozens of times. They never caught on. This was when cigarettes were $2 a pack, maybe $15-$20 carton depending on brand. Also used to waive my friends late fees and give free rentals at Blockbuster. I was crooked AF. Still am.
Love me some Danny Sodes. One of the best podcast guests in the game. If you haven't seen the "Regs" episodes of YKWD with him, Joe List and Luis J Gomez, do it.
@@zaclikescauliflower2877 nah man, he's alright. You just gotta get used to him. But then again, you like cauliflower so much you put it as your username, so your taste in general is all fucked up.
I've worked in retail my entire adult life. Best stealing scam I had was got 2 of my friends hired as security and when it was just them in the store we would rob it blind of products lol
I'm so excited for the people who have been a Santino fan for a long time, because this is his year. I just discovered him after his impression of Bobby Lee's mom went viral, and I've never been more excited about a comedian.
I used to work at a McDonalds when I was younger. I'd memorize the prices so that whenever someone paid with exact change, I'd just cancel the order after they made it and pocket the money.
I'm super into the "steal from work" rant they went on. I about died at "Stealing is what America does best" Maybe I'll return to my stealing teenage self and start pocketing things like a REAL AMERICAN. Do you need anything? Ps- weed carts may not exist but look into weed pop-ups. It's local growers selling at small events.
Dude their bit about stealing from their jobs as teens is so relatable. We used to steel sleeves of the square burgers from Wendy's and grill out with friends, Every now and then take a 12 pack from the restaurant I worked at and have a few beers in the parking lot after our shift. Good times
Semi unrelated but when my grandma was alive she was a regular at waffle house. I mean every single day maybe twice a day..this mfer stole so many coffee cups from this place I don't see how they didn't catch on
🎶 No one likes us, no one likes us, no one likes usss, we don't care. We're from Philly, FUCKIN PHILLY, No one likes us, We don't care. 🎶 Bang bang bird gang, go birds!
On the job stealing... my husband is an electrician that comes home with a stock truck every night. I go in there for zip ties, caulking, wasps spay, screws, whatever I might need for home projects that I do. I've even stripped some wire for the copper to hang plants.
Holy shit Tito....worked at the door checking id's in college, they used to give us free passes to hand out to friends, we would just take 20 or so with us when we worked, take the cash and replace w feee pass. $50-100 a night...golf course job, xtra 9 holes was $20, would pocket the cash and let them play as much as they wanted...
A gang of 9 employees worked for Hill's Dept store in Ohio. Maintenance, electronics, socks, and housewares dept heads were involved. Maintenance guy would wheel everything out of the store in garbage containers, and placed behind the store (before security cams were a thing). VCRs, TVs, Nintendo games and units, VHS movies, coats, clothing, microwaves. A loss prevention specialist was brought in, and a big bust was going to happen. Everyone was nervous. They ended up busting another little gang of thieves in the store and none of "9" were even looked at.
They actually strap the octopus to themselves underneath their shirts with duct tape and a plastic bag, just in case they need it. Wild level of commitment and optimism if you ask me
My first job at 16 was for a clothes store in the mall( back when it was still cool) I had to tag and stock the new clothes coming in....wore new stuff under my clothes every shift...hooked up friends with free stuff...felt great
As a teen, I worked for Quizno's: XXXXL sando's, SoBe drinks, and me and one of my buddies would stay clocked in after we closed and smoke cigars out back; we got caught one time.
My one buddy got pants'ed in front of the whole gym class and I can remember this girl in the class yells "it looks like my little brothers!" Just loud as hell!
My buddy worked for a temp service at a warehouse. He clocked in one day and realized nobody knew who he was. So, he just started clocking in and coming back later to clock out. He did this for months and the paychecks kept coming.
We got Bill Burr and a Stanhope pod and also a Santino and Soder pod released in the same hour. Looks like my day turned around and I’m no longer gonna go jump in front of a train like I had planned to earlier
Background: So, when I was working for Indochino, the suit tailor... We'd take measurements for suits, add them to an app, then send that data to the factory and they would sew the suit. Sometimes, even with accurate measurements in the app, there would still be an error in production, and the sleeves would be too short, or shoulders too narrow, wrong trim, etc. When we weren't able to make alterations to the suit (like if the shoulders were to NARROW and couldn't be modified), they would remake the suit free of charge. The suits with errors would either get sent back to the factory or destroyed (they all sat in a closet), or if the suit fit us, we were allowed to take them. That was the background... here is the scheme: When a client would come in to get a suit, and had a similar body type to mine, I would purposefully put in my information into the app, when the suit came in, it wouldn't fit the client, and if it couldn't be altred, after it went into the back room, I would take it. And since I used my measurements, the suit while it didn't fit the client, would be perfectly fit to me. I probably have about 5k worth of suits from doing this LOL they retailed at Indochino for 399-799
I used to work at a Burger Joint that was a couple doors down from a coffee shop where I knew an employee who was also a budtender; I would dial in a "To Go Order" 4/5 times a week that would (if you could guess it) cancel/not show up. After about 5/10 minutes the food should have been thrown away according to restaurant rules but I would take it to the coffee shop connect who worked at the dispensary the night before. Exchanged the food for both coffee/dro which I would then sell back to employees at the burger joint I worked at. 🤙🏽
lmao stealing isnt as easy as it was back them. theres cameras everywhere. i used to work at ups and sure ive seen people take stuff but majorly or work places are stacked with cameras. only reason ups people got away with it is because the trucks dont have cameras
My first job was at an auto parts store. When we had to special order aftermarket parts we would have to call the supplier to get the price and hand write the bill for the customer, but no one would ever check that the amount matched what the store paid to the supplier so I just got all my friends like full exhaust systems for 100bux.
We used to pull up to any fast food place after a night out and claim they had messed up our lunch order for work like 12 hours earlier and we’d get like 10 cheese burgers with no ketchup for free. They trick was making it somewhat specific and we almost never got questioned.
My eyes are going to shit and I keep seeing “How to Solder” videos, but read them as “How to Soder” and I get so excited. I’m here because I caved to the lure of some Solder 😂😂😂😂
Back in the day everyone sold bud. We needed an edge. I used to go to parties an say my friend was on his way back from Jamaica and had multiple dime bags in his dreads. He was just coming from Staten island. But EVERYONE wanted the Jamaican bud. So we would sell dimes of mids for 30 or 35.
