I mean, to be fair, Dream is technically a child (he was 6 during the apple accident, then trained for about 6years with the guardian of magic... so he is around 12 when he starts wandering the Multiverse) and Ink is likely a manchild (just like Error. He literally has no memore nor life prior to waking up in the Doodlesphere. He is a kid in an adult body) So, yeah. Blue is the mom friend. And possibly the only one with common sense, since he is also the only normal one.
