Exegesis-Exegesis-Exegesis!!!You have to ask what was the author trying share and who was the audience to which it was written for, and how to apply the truth in today's world.
I cannot agree that the majority of Palestinian’s in Gaza want to live in peace with the Jewish state-everything we see it’s just the opposite and I’m not talking about the media-perhaps I’m mistaken, but I don’t think this is true-quite the contrary, just by who they elect as their leaders! I’m open to change my opinion, but I just don’t see this happening by looking at the facts
@@BibleAnswerMan I cannot take one man’s opinion who lives there. I know of many other Christian men who say that is not the case, and I would like to believe it, but how anyone could say that the Muslims are trying to live in peace, including the Palestinians is beyond me.
Wow, what a testemony of forgiveness, I have nothing against Jews or Palistinians, only the love of Jesus can end the conflict. I'm a grafted in gentile, I love them all.
“And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” Revelation 17:18 KJV. There is only ONE church named after a city. That is Rome! Amen!
@chrisdelong2932 That is one way of seeing the woman on the beast. Hank offers a compelling alternate understanding of the imagery: www.equip.org/bible_answers/who-or-what-is-the-great-prostitute-of-revelation-17-cbab/
If the occupying Zionist's are truely God's chosen, there is no need for the full force of the U.S. military for protection. If God blesses those who bless Isreal, what would a curse look like? I'm referencing 1948 until present.
@juliebailey5751 What is your take? See www.equip.org/article/excavating-palestines-villages-review-of-erased-from-space-and-consciousness-israel-and-the-depopulated-palestinian-villages-of-1948/
Point taken. What is the Christian response to genuine evil, especially on a mass scale? Are we not to intercede and prevent further bloodshed? If not, America should have remained isolationist in the face of Nazi aggression and genocide. Among everything the Lord Jesus advocated, the concept of justice was paramount.
He is speaking about "just war" in terms of human vengeance/human version of righting wrongs. However, I would like to hear a complete explanation of what he means because that comment he made didn't sit right with me.
In this world, God is a Zionist forever ( Genesis 17:8) and Michael is Israel’s archangel and protector. ( Daniel 12; Revelations 12). Whoever curses Israel will be cursed. Thankfully Jesus’ kingdom is not of this world and all cursed can enter the door and find refuge :)
It is false to claim that God desires all men to be saved, as this undermines His sovereignty and election. If God truly wanted every person to be saved, they would be, because His will is unstoppable. The reality that many Jews and Muslims are not saved reflects God's sovereign choice. Scripture shows that God elects some for salvation and passes over others, demonstrating His ultimate authority over who comes to Him. It is not human will or effort, but God's mercy and divine plan that determines salvation. Those not chosen are left in their unbelief according to His purpose.
Calvinism blasphemes our Holy God. Calvinism is a denial that everyone was born with God-given free will. Calvinism is a denial that the blood of Christ Jesus is sufficient to cleanse anyone who chooses to put their faith and trust in Jesus and abide in Him. Calvinism is a denial that anyone who comes to genuine repentance and who asks Jesus to be their LORD and Savior will be forgiven. Calvinism is a denial that God is infinite and exists outside of time and space, knowing the beginning from the end, knowing every thought, every choice we will ever make.
@1Whipperin appreciate the input. What does that have to do with the discussion. Why not proclaim the gospel in that war-torn region? What makes you imagine God has no elect there?
@@user-kf6vj7we9v Calvinism does not blaspheme God but upholds His sovereignty, holiness, and justice. It affirms that God is perfectly righteous in all His actions, as seen in Romans 9:14-15. Rather than diminishing God's holiness, Calvinism exalts His supreme authority over creation. Calvinism does not deny that humans make choices. Instead, it teaches that human will is bound by sin apart from God's grace, as explained in Romans 8:7-8. Free will exists but is not autonomous. It is either enslaved to sin or liberated by God's grace. The Bible makes it clear that without God's intervention, no one seeks after Him, as stated in Romans 3:11. However, through God's regenerating grace, He enables sinners to turn to Christ. The claim that Calvinism denies the sufficiency of Christ's blood is a misunderstanding. Calvinists strongly affirm that Christ's blood is fully sufficient to save all who believe, as shown in 1 John 1:7. The doctrine of limited atonement, or particular redemption, teaches that Christ's atonement is effective for those God has chosen, ensuring that none for whom Christ died will be lost, as in John 6:37 and John 10:14-15. This does not deny the sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice but emphasizes its guaranteed effectiveness for those it is meant to save. Calvinism in no way denies forgiveness for those who come to Christ in genuine repentance. Scripture teaches that anyone who turns to Christ in faith and repentance will be saved. The doctrine of irresistible grace teaches that God's grace draws His elect to genuine repentance and faith. As John 6:37 states, "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out." Calvinism does not deny God's omniscience. It affirms that God knows all things from beginning to end, as seen in Isaiah 46:10. God's foreknowledge is based on His sovereign plan, not merely on observing future human decisions. Ephesians 1:11 shows that God decrees all things according to His will. Far from denying God's infinite knowledge, Calvinism upholds His perfect understanding and control over all creation. Calvinism does not diminish God's holiness or justice. Instead, it magnifies His grace by showing that salvation is a work of His mercy, where He brings sinners to repentance and faith in Christ. These doctrines align with biblical truth, demonstrating God's sovereignty, grace, and justice.
@@1WhipperinGod never gained anything from human reason. Human reason has only corrupted the pure and simple message Gospel of Christ Jesus. All of the ism's are heresies. It's not a coincidence that John Calvin went to school with Ignatius Loyola either. The Jesuits promote heresies in the Protestants churches.
You are bound by doctrines of men. The first word you say is Calvin. this has nothing to do with the discussion here. You may have lost your mind. He’s just a man.
